repeat all of this once again and then do the regular chords intro (G D7 Em C)
I usually just play the amount of repeats of the 2 notes very aproximately and fairly quickly. good luck!
Does anyone else see the biblical reference in this song? Is it the Prodigal Son?
Put a capo on the 1st fret, switch D7 to BE and it sounds like heaven !
This is a great piece, and I loved the way it sounds, but I’d really like it better if I could see the notes throughout the whole song, rather than having to scroll up again. I really hope you can change that!
if u want the song to sound a little bit happier, i like to use the strumming pattern D-D-U-D-D-U-D-D-U-D for each chord! <3
I decided to go with plucks one day, and I found out another higher way to play fingerstyle ^^ You can use your thumb or index and thumb to play
—2—2—2—— (repeat a bit then lift up index)
——3—3—3—
————————
———————— tip( it’s the first two fingies of a Em or G ^^)
—0–0–0–
——3—3–3–
After that do the same pattern but bar the two strings and lift up a bit when you go down to 0
2–2–2–2 0—0–0–0–0
—2–2–2–2 to —2–2–2–2 (kinda like the beginning to a B chord)
Then go to 2–2–2–2
—0–0–0–0 and release the second fret when like before ^^
Finally, play the same as just now, but use the C string instead
—2–2—2–2
——————
0–0–0—0—2
Then as you near the end, it’ll repeat but it does a little thing to smooth into the first part (use your middle finger to do this as it makes transitioning to the first part easier)
—0–0————
————3–3–3
0–0–0–0—0–
Over all it loops a bit ^^ hope this wasn’t a ramble! I like the sound of the chords but finger style feels a bit more.. I dunno, right!
Instead of D7 I do Bm7. i think it sounds better idk
everyone says to use D instead of D7 but I tend to use B7. it’s a little strange but i think it adds something
I feel like the D7 should be another note but I can’t quite put my finger on it, good tab regardless
strumming pattern
pluck ( i suggest with your thumb and pointer finger ) the bottom two strings ( A and E ) and then pluck the top two strings ( C and G ) and switch to the next chord
Oi fellow nerds, name’s Gail ^^ I’m a Twenty-One Pilots, My Hero Academia, and IT (or just any Stephan King movie) fan, I’m (about to be) 14, and I just want some frens.. add me to Discord? My user is All Hail Gail#0386
do you think you could upload the song with all the chords but only if you have the time tho
I noticed that they changed the chords on this song from what they had before. I think it sounds a lot better if you replace D7 with a regular D.
i think Bm sounds better than D7 in my opinion
Does anyone know the strumming pattern for this song? sorry im new to ukulele and am not really good at it yet
Does anyone know the strum pattern?? >.<
which one is the easiest but still sounds good at the same time?
I love this omg yeas. Also i played a G on the end after the C. It sounds better idk
when tranposing to +5 I’ve found that it sounds better and is easier to transition with G rather than G7. Maybe It’s just me, idk, give it a try.
What key is it in?
