Chorus:
Dm Am
I don't wanna fall, fall away
Bb F C
I don't wanna fall, fall away
Dm Am
I'll keep the lights on in this place
Bb F C
'Cause I don't wanna fall, fall away

Verse:
Dm
I disguise and I will lie
    Am
And I will take my precious time
       Bb
As the days spent away as I stand in line
      F C
And I die as I wait as I wait on my crime
         Dm
And I'll try to delay what you make of my life
      Am
But I don't want your way, I want mine
    Bb
I'm dying and trying but believe me I'm fine
        F C
But I'm lying, I'm so very far from fine

    Dm Am Bb
And I can feel the pull begin
               F Dm
I feel my conscience wearing thin
        Am Bb F C
And my skin, It will start to break up and fall apart

Chorus:
Dm Am
I don't wanna fall, fall away
Bb F C
I don't wanna fall, fall away
Dm Am
I'll keep the lights on in this place
Bb F C
'Cause I don't wanna fall, fall away

Verse:
      Dm
Every time I feel selfish ambition is taking my vision
       Am
And my crime is my sentence, repentance is taking commission
     Bb
It's taking a toll on my soul, I'm screaming submission and
F C
I don't know if I am dying or living
              Dm
'Cause I will save face for name's sake, abuse grace
     Am
Take aim to obtain a new name and a newer place
       Bb
But my name is lame, I can't walk and I ain't the same
       F C
And my name became a new destiny to the grave

    Dm Am Bb
And I can feel the pull begin
               F Dm
I feel my conscience wearing thin
        Am Bb F C
And my skin, It will start to break up and fall apart

Chorus:
Dm Am
I don't wanna fall, fall away
Bb F C
I don't wanna fall, fall away
Dm Am
I'll keep the lights on in this place
Bb F C
'Cause I don't wanna fall, fall away

  1. Just keep plucking CEA while going from chord to chord, and switch it up to make it sound good. I found that it sounds very similar to the piano from the song

  2. i whisper these lyrics to myself

“And my skin, it will start to break up and fall apart.” Infinity War flashbacks, anyone?

i played this.. the whole thing wondering why it didn’t sound right then realised it’s the ukulele chords. i was playing the ukulele chords on my guitar ;-; (still sorta works lol)

  5. At the end I strum a F to make it sound a little more complete.

If you absolutely love the raps to this song you should listen to Drown from No Phun Intended. Of course I Reccomend that album anyway but the full original raps that Tyler wrote were shortened on this song, and they’re REALLY DEEP. It’s so true though. Anyway you don’t have to listen to Drown, but it’s on YouTube if you wanna.

I love No Phun Intended! My favorites on that album are Drown, Taken By Sleep, and Whisper.

The C chord sounds a bit off to me when I play along to the song. My ukulele is in tune, but it still sounds odd. Amy suggestions?

    • If you change the C for an A it sounds quite good

    • THESIZZLER

I have mine tuned down a half step and it sounds really nice with the strumming pattern I use-down,down,slight pause,up,up,down-then switch to the next chord. I also think it depends on what type of uke you have I have a concert which has a little deeper tone then a soprano, so that could be it for you if you do. and if have a tenor then I suggest going down a half step like I did.

    • ….sounds alright to me. if you REALLY want an alternative, try A.

  14. TYSM this is an amazing tab 11/10 it’s so fun to play AHHHHHHH I LOVE THIS SONG |-/

  17. mad dawg with the uke

MY SONG IS HERE FINALLY AHHH

  18. i find that for the ‘i feel the pull begin verse’ when you play ‘and my skin’ i think Dm fits better. and also maybe replace the C s with A s? i think that sounds good too. but i love this tab, and this song!! thanks for adding!!

    • the A’s give it a very cool sound, but the C’s make it sound more like the real song. add the A’s on your own accord, if you’re feeling adventurous, I recommend. |-/ stay street
