  1. What’s the easiest strumming pattern for a beginner ?

  2. The strumming pattern is D-D-U-D-U-D-U
    Hope I could Help :)

  3. Wow this is the first time that I have an uke in my hands and this song helps me A LOT. I think that the only big problem is just Bbm…

    • Username? IDK

Just bar the top part (First fret strings C, E, and A) and I personally use my ring finger to push down the last part of the cord (Second fret G string). It just helps to make sure I don’t push down any extra strings.

I agree Bbm was really hard for me cause I have such small hands I never got it in the end. will someone give me a tip, please?

      • I had this uke for only 2 days. All I can say is to press with your index finger all 4 chords (1st fret) and put the middle finger over the index to make it more firm. With your 3rd finger press now the chord 2nd fret. (Part of the tip was explained to me)

Hope you understand and find this tip useful :) 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. Pros eat waffles

I use DDUUDU and it matches the real song

  8. I used the strumming pattern ddudud at it sounded fine. also im having trouble singing and playing at the same time (im new to the uke) so if anyone has any tips for me that would be great!

    • EVA KNEIPP

My advice is to just practice. When I first started it was SOO hard to sing and play. So just take it one step at a time. For example, sing each word while playing slowly or just one downstrum and then slowly get faster and adding strumming patterns! :)

    • AnAverageAmoeba

You can also try to start with slower songs that only have a few syllables per chord, that’ll help you get used to it a little faster

    • For me it helped learning ‘i can’t help’ and just playing ddu REAL slow and then try to match my voice (I’m an awful singer). And know it gets easier the more I listen to a song :) still, there are some songs I can’t sing to for goodness’sake (in my case it’s riptide)

    • Idk what I’m doing lol

I you to learn Please Don’t by mxmtoon it a slow song with only 4 easy chords and an easy strumming pattern which you can get used to quickly. The song it’s is very nice and slow. Highly suggest trying it out

Also you for the signing try doing only simple down strums for every time you change chords and slowly add up and down strums.

    • I am just starting as well so I am with ya there

    • LAVA IS STUCK IN MY HEAD! HELP!

Try playing the song without singing for a while until it becomes muscle memory and then slowly add in words.

    • Tip- sing it without the ukulele so it’s engraved into your mind ( it might get a bit annoying) and then memorize the notes, and then slowly put it together bit by bit! Practice makes perfect!

  9. Emo Trash

It would be nice if it had a strumming pattern. Great song tho!

  10. Mayor McCheese

Some parts sounded a little off…
