Intro -x2-: Gb Abm Ebm B

Verse:
Gb Abm Ebm
I just wanna stay in the sun where I find
             B
 I know it’s hard sometimes
Gb Abm Ebm
Pieces of peace in the sun’s peace of mind
                  B
 I know it’s hard sometimes
Gb Abm Ebm
Yeah I think about the end just way too much
                 B
 But it’s fun to fantasize
Gb Abm Ebm
On my enemies I wouldn’t wish who I was
                 B
 But it’s fun to fantasize

Gb Abm
Oh Oh whoa, oh Oh whoa
    Ebm B Gb
I’m falling so I’m taking my time on my ride
      Abm
Oh Oh whoa
    Ebm B Gb Abm Ebm
I’m falling so I’m taking my time on my ride
               -B- Gb Abm Ebm B
I'm taking my time on my ride

Verse:
Gb
"I'd die for you," that's easy to say
                         Abm
We have a list of people that we would take
Ebm
a bullet for them, a bullet for you
                   B
a bullet for everybody in this room
      Gb
But I don't seem to see many bullets coming through
         Abm
See many bullets coming through
Ebm
Metaphorically I'm the man
                           B
But literally I don't know what I'd do
     Gb
"I'd live for you," and that's hard to do
                            Abm
Even harder to say when you know it's not true
     Ebm
Even harder to write when you know that tonight
                                      B
There were people back home who tried talking to you
Gb
But then you ignore them still
                                Abm
All these questions they’re for real
                   Ebm
Like who would you live for? Who would you die for?
                    B
And would you ever kill?

Chorus:
Gb Abm
Oh Oh whoa, oh Oh whoa
    Ebm B Gb
I’m falling so I’m taking my time on my ride
        Abm
Oh Oh whoa
    Ebm B Gb Abm Ebm
I’m falling so I’m taking my time on my ride
               B Gb Abm Ebm B

  1. i know everyone says +1 which is good but +1 with a capo on the first fret sounds better

  2. OdeToPortals

I would say that by playing -4 and a bar on fret 4 sounds higher like the original and is accurate + easy. I do 3 strums on D, 1 strum on Em, 3 strums on Bm, and 1 strum on G for the intro, first verse, and the chorus. Strum once on each note for the outro part.

  3. PoppyKate

    +1

  4. Sourgum3

+1 is easy and sounds good.

  5. Ney the clique

Strumming pattern: ⬇⬇⬇⬆⬆⬇⬆ and then play ⬇⬇⬆ on next chord. It’s works |-/

  6. sun.and.stars

Transpose to -6 for easier chords frens

  7. UkuSophia

    +1 is easier

  8. regional_at_worst

    +1

  9. +1 for easier playing!

  10. I physically can’t sing the taking my timmmeeeee part. Any tips?

  11. nickname#7

way easier version: verse- G,Em. Chorus and bridge- G,Am,Em.
its not the same tune but is still easy to play.

  12. STRUM PATTERN: Down three beats, down one beat and then down three beats.
