3 ukulele chords used in "Lane Boy" by Twenty One Pilots: Am, Dm and G

This is perfect! Now I just have to get good at actually singing the words fast enough *toddles off singing “…that feel common I’m in constant confrontation” except actually saying “that feel common amamamamaanananamamanamamanaan MANAMANA DO DOOOOOOO DO DO DO MANAMANA”
I’m pretty sure the lyrics are if you ask Zack he’s my brother he likes when I rap fast. Just putting it out there but I am almost 100% sure. Stay alive frens! |-/
Strumming pattern I used: DUDUUDU
Wouldn’t change a single thing. Spot on. |-/ Fan for life.
For some reason G dosent sound right. Its too upbeat for the song i just stick with another count of Am
I like to play it with capo on 2nd fret but chords from original key 🙂
I love this song=]
I-/ is the best! Trust me, I listen to it 24/7. This song does not sound correct on ukulele but if you try changing the pitch it might.
The strumming pattern I use is
Dm- DUDUDU
Am- DDU (Then I mute the strings quickly, you’ll get the feel) x2
G- DDDDD (Really fast, then for the last downstrum I use an Am chord then mute)
My creativity’s ONLY free
not
My creativity’s ON THE free
-5 is the best for me
For the chorus the strumming pattern I did was DUUDU
This is one of my favorite songs on the album. I love it so much. Josh is amazing on the drums. This tab is AWESOME. I thought it would be harder to play but the chords are super easy.
Dm doesn’t sound right and I can’t find a decent replacement…Anyone have any ideas?
YES.

So the G in the chorus makes it sounds happy and not “shady”, but put in an Am after it, it makes the chorus sound a little better.
WHAT ØN EARTH IS THE STRUMMING PATTERN?!?!?!
|-/
-2 sounds even better!
If you feel like it, you can throw in an F between the Dm and Am during certain parts. It gives it an extra interesting vibe. Works well during the instrumental and onwards.
