+3
Hey i’m new to ukuleles I just started could someone please tell me what “+3” means???
its changing the key, where it says transpose at the top you can click +3
it just means to transpose up 3 half notes, like instead of D, Gbm, E you would do F, Am, G :)
at the top where it tells you the song title and artist, there is the word “transpose” and some numbers. if you click on a number it’ll change the pitch of the song up or down that many half steps. comments like “+3” are saying that if you transpose it up 3 half steps, it will be easier to play :3
it means transpose, so see that bar of numbers? that helps change the chords, and for this song +3 is the easiest transpose.
transpose +3
You have proppably figured it out a while ago but just in case you still don’t know. Under the genre of song you have something that’s called “Transpose”, which is basically showing you how to play same song in driffrent key – using diffrent chords.
Hope it helps, and good luck with playing ;)
hello fellow ukulele player!! (lol what even??) so when someone says +3 (or any number from 1-6 and add either a + or -) it means to transpose the chords half a step up. you can find them right underneath the genre of the song and it should say “transpose ⚙️”. hoped this helped :D
@UKULELE BOOMERANG it’s the transpose thingy,
You know the numbers which appear right under the GENRE, next to TRANSPOSE? Those are different “options”; I mean, different chords to play the song. People usually recommed the easiest or the ones which sound better.
To change them, you just have to press on the corresponding “change” (i can´t remember ow to name these things rn sorry)
Hope I helped!
Yes! Thank you for posting this song and to @Ginge for the tip!
guys, +3 is easy!
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT I LOVE THIS SONG im so happy rn
+3 is the easiest
+3
+3 is easier :)
I am really happy that you added more songs here and I just wanted to thank you for doing that. ❤
This is my favorite song on this website.
instead of an E chord u can bar the 4th fret and put a finger on the A string, 7th fret
+3 sounds amazing and it’s so easy:)
Sure +3 is the easiest, but I feel like it’s worth learning the 0 one, because it just sounds the most accurate! :) thank you for this btw
Im almost 100% sure that instead of “deny, deny, denial” its “tonight, tonight, tonight oh”
No it’s deny, deny, denial
In my opinion -2 is a bit easier than +3. But then again, it’s different for everybody else, and some chords are easier for others. Back on subject, the easiest one I can find that’s still closest to the original is +1 and it sounds quite nice.
Do any of you know what the strumming pattern is?
Its DownDown-UpUp-DownUpDown
At least for me it sounds good idk lol
Strumming patterns anyone?
Any easier ways to hget a somewhat same sound as Bm? I’m a beginner
you can just bar the second fret and keep it the same :)
it’s not “tonight”, it’s “deny”, lol c: also i second parisnotfrance. what the heck is the strumming pattern?? i’ve listened to tyler play the acoustic version of this on his uke but the pattern still confuses me.
its kinda weird figuring it out from the album version, but when tyler plays it live i think he plays it u/d/u but its kinda sustained like he doesnt press his fingers on his left hand down on the strings all the way or he lightly barres it or something so its a shorter sound, but d/d/u/u/d/d works if u wanna play the full chords! just not how he plays it live :)
+3 is boss
does anyone know the strumming pattern?
strumming pattern?
For the Bridge I use Gbm, D-Bm, A, and then E. It sounds way better in my opinion.
hi frens i just wanted to tell ya that if you want to play the chords exactly like tyler in the acoustic version, you should play the E like this: 4447 (barring with your index finger and on the A string you just add your pinky finger), and the D chord like this: 2225 (it’t basicly the same as the E chord, you just slide down two frets)! and you just play the rest of the chords ‘normally’!
ps. please don’t kill me if i said anything wrong
ps2. i started playing uke exactly eight months ago, and i’m just practising by myself. i wish you guys the best in your ukexperience!♥ never give up, play at least one song a day, and practise, practise, practise. i believe in you.♥
ps3. sorry if i mispelled something or my grammar is not good, i’m from hungary (a country where twenty one pilots will never come)
bye
i was wondering what the strumming pattern is, can anyone help?
I transpose to +1 cause I think it sounds better, but I don’t know what the strumming pattern is pls help
