Intro: A

Verse:
A
 I don't know why
        Gbm Dbm D
I just feel I'm better off staying in the same room I was born in
           A Gbm
I look outside and see a whole world
           Dbm D
Better off without me in it trying to transform it

Chorus:
 D A
You are out of my mind, oh
 Gbm E
You aren't seeing my side, oh
 D A
You waste all of this time trying to get to me
     D A
But you are out of my mind

Verse:
A
 Listen I know
              Gbm Dbm
This one's a contradiction because of how happy it sounds
         D
But the lyrics are so down
           A
 It's okay though
            Gbm Dbm
Because it represents, wait, better yet it is
              D
Who I feel I am right now

Chorus:
 D A
You are out of my mind, oh
 Gbm E
You aren't seeing my side, oh
 D A
You waste all of this time trying to get to me
     Gbm E
But you are out of my mind

Post-Chorus:
 G D
 Heard you say, "not today"
 Gbm Bm A
Tore the curtains down, windows open, now make a sound
 G D
Heard your voice, there's no choice
 Gbm Bm A
Tore the curtains down, windows open, now make a noise

Verse:
A
 Don't you test me, no
      Gbm
Just because I play the piano
              Dbm D
Doesn't mean I, I'm not willing to take you down

Chorus:
 D A
I, I'm out of my mind, oh
 Gbm E
I'm not seeing things right, oh
 D A
I waste all this time trying to run from you
     Gbm A
But I, I'm out of my mind

Post-Chorus:
 G D
 Heard you say, "not today"
 Gbm Bm A
Tore the curtains down, windows open, now make a sound
 G D
Heard your voice, there's no choice
 Gbm Bm A
Tore the curtains down, windows open, now make a noise

Interlude:
    Gbm G D A
    Gbm G D A
    G A

Chorus:
 D A
You are out of my mind, oh
 Gbm E
You aren't seeing my side, oh
 D A
You waste all of this time trying to get to me
     Gbm E
But you are out of my mind

Outro:
 G D
 Heard you say, "not today"

Tore the curtains down, windows open, now make a sound

Tore the curtains down, windows open, now make a noise

As someone who struggled with chucking for a while, a good alternative is to literally slap your uke.

When you stop the chord, I can’t explaij it very well but if you look it up there’ll be loads of people who can explain it :)

I dunno if I’m right, but I think its stopping the chord by hitting the uke with your knuckles

Barre G, C, and E with your ring finger, and put your index finger on the second fret of the A string, and that sounds just like the E chord the song suggests.

If you hold down the G and C string on the 4th fret, it sounds pretty much like an E chord. It’s much easier too :)
