Verse:
Dbm
Well it rains and it pours

When you're out on your own
A
If I crash on the couch

Can I sleep in my clothes?
Gbm
'Cause I've spent the night dancing

I'm drunk, I suppose
Ab
If it looks like I'm laughing

I'm really just asking to leave

Db
This alone, you're in time for the show
            A
You're the one that I need

I'm the one that you loathe
Gbm
You can watch me corrode like a beast in repose
           Ab
'Cause I love all the poison

Away with the boys in the band

Pre-Chorus:
A B Ab Dbm
I've really been on a bender and it shows
A Ab
So why don't you blow me a kiss before she goes?

Chorus:
Dbm
Give me a shot to remember
                           A
And you can take all the pain away from me
                     Gbm
A kiss and I will surrender
                          Ab
The sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead
                         Dbm
A light to burn all the empires
                          A
So bright the sun is ashamed to rise and be
                            Gbm
In love with all of these vampires
                          Ab
So you can leave like the sane abandoned me

Verse -same as first-:
There's a place in the dark where the animals go
You can take off your skin in the cannibal glow
Juliet loves the beat and the lust it commands
Drop the dagger and lather the blood on your hands, Romeo

Pre-Chorus:
A B Ab Dbm
I've really been on a bender and it shows
A Ab
So why don't you blow me a kiss before she goes?

Chorus -x2-:
Dbm
Give me a shot to remember
                           A
And you can take all the pain away from me
                     Gbm
A kiss and I will surrender
                          Ab
The sharpest lives are the deadliest to lead
                         Dbm
A light to burn all the empires
                          A
So bright the sun is ashamed to rise and be
                            Gbm
In love with all of these vampires
                          Ab
So you can leave like the sane abandoned me

    • nayyohmeme

for verses i do d,d,u,u,d,u then pre-chorus i just strum once for each chord shown, then for the chorus i do d,d,d,u,d,u,u,d,u,d,u,d,u

  3. th3 z0d14c qu33n

-1 with a capo on the first fret sounds the most like the song!!

  4. AlienOverlord

I think it sounds better as an E

  5. +1 is a good one :))

  6. Love it! This is one of my favorite songs right now. Although don’t just say, “same as 1st verse”, and the E chord sounds much better as Em.

  7. Try +1 :)))

  8. brittabird6

I’m sorry, but I really hate when songs say “same as first verse.” Playing the ukulele is a two-handed effort. I don’t have the capability to scroll up and down to find the chords while I’m playing the song. Please fix this.

  9. -4 is easiest but for E just play Em

  10. -4

  11. Trash can not Trash can't

-4 sounds good, this is hard but worth it!
