Intro: C Am G F G

Verse:
C
Well when you go
                               Am
don't ever think i'll make you try to stay
                         G
and maybe when you get back
                             C
I'll be off to find another way
                     C
And after all this time that you still owe
                            Am
you're still the good for nothing i don't know
                             G
so take your gloves and get out, better get out
             C
while you can

Chorus:
F G
When you go
G A G F
would you even turn to say
F F
i don't love you
         G
like i did
       C
yesterday

Verse:
             C
sometimes i cry so hard from pleading
                      Am
so sick and tired of all the needless beating
                     G
but baby when they knock you down and out
                        C
it's where you oughta stay
                    C
and after all the blood that you still owe
                  Am
another dollar's just another blow
                      G
so fix your eyes and get up, better get up
           C
while you can

Chorus:
F G
When you go
G A G F
would you even turn to say
F F
i don't love you

like i did
       C
yesterday

  1. A good plucking pattern that gives it a nice chill vibe is if, throughout the whole song, you just pluck the A string and then the C string repeatedly! Hope this helps!😊

For “would you even turn to say” instead of A G and F use, Am7, A7sus4, and playing the chord that’s the first fret of the E string, like put your finger on the first fret and on the E string. (i couldn’t find the special name) but it sounds much better than what this site provides.

  3. if you want to play it like emmas cover, put a capo on the first fret and just play the regular chords :)

  4. No_Emo_Bananas

i use the strumming pattern DDU UDU but you have to strum pretty fast, i think it sounds pretty nice :)

  5. Where are the other 19 pilots?
