5 ukulele chords used in "Lucky" by Jason Mraz: Am, C, Dm7, Em and G

anyone thing the glee version sounds better?
use a g instead of an am on “coming home some day”
Whenever there was two Cs in a row, I I put the second C as a G. Sounds better to me.
C Am
Boy I hear you in my dreams
Dm G
I feel your whisper across the sea
Em Am
I keep you with me in my heart
Dm G E
You make it easier when life gets hard
I think is nicer, more accurate
you can easily subsitute the dm7 into f
use a g instead of an am on “coming home some day”
Yes, these might be very accurate, but it definitely “FEELS” like this can be performed very easily as a C-Am-F-G repeating I–vi–IV–V 50’s chord progession. The Dm sounds better than the F, but it’s VERY close. close enough to fake it SUPER easily as a newbie.
Above the first I keep you with me in my heart it needs to be a Em
FYI instead of playing a Dm7 you can always play just a Dm minor. it sounds almost the exact same (maybe even better) I thought this was a good trick because Dm was just so much easier too play.
i love this song, and im planning to sing it to my friends :))
Keep you with me in my heart is Em and Am not Am Am.., i’m pretty sure
i love this song!!!!
if anyone wants to try out a strumming pattern I recommend
Down, up, slight pause, down
And on “some day” I would recommend replacing the a with a g it sounds a lot nicer….
hope this helps! 🙂
i think that dm sounds more like the song than dm7
Lucky

C Am Em G
now i need my bf to sing wit me
+2 is much easier if you can deal with the pitch change
Imagine being in love
Can anyone tell me when you change the chords when they’re singing at a different time? Like the “They don’t know how long it takes” part. Do you change it in time with the guy singing or the girl because I’m so confused lmao
i love this song. i looked at kerrigan_ comment about the strumming pattern and tried it but i didnt really sound right to me. any ajustments i can make to the pattern DDUD?
