4 ukulele chords used in "Have It All" by Jason Mraz: A, B, Dbm and E

This is really a great tune to practice your barre chords and transitions between them. And unless you have to transpose it to fit your vocal range, I’d recommend trying to play this in its original key, barre chords and all. How else are you going to get any better? 🙂 The Bb, Dbm, and E chords can all be barred with the Dbm in the third inversion (barre the 4th fret and put ring finger on G string, 6th fret). Barring all 3 of these chords makes it super easy to transition between them. It also sounds better (IMV) and makes it easier to play with better strumming patterns.
Speaking of which…For the reggae-type feel Jason Mraz likes to use in so many of his songs, including this one, I like to pick the G string then D-U-chunk-U. This pattern gives that syncopated reggae rhythm (oom-papa-oom-pa) You can use this pattern throughout the song with minor modifications in the Bridge and maybe a few other places.
-4 my dudes
I think that -4 probably has the easiest chords in it.
-4 is the easiest
Wow this song is bootiful but it hurts to move my fingers like that
For the strumming pattern is do ddu but one of the d harder so DduDdu 🙂
Transposing this to -4 and playing with the capo on the 2nd fret really helped me when singing with it. 😀 Figure I should mention it in case anyone else wants to try it out that way. (:
make it -4 or +3 for some easier chords 🙂
I love this song and despite what people say about E Major chords being the hardest to play, they’re super easy for me. However, my greatest enemy, B Major, lurks just around the corner in this song. And honestly, this is very much a beginner level song imo.
It is really good, but it is missing one of the parts of the song, so I’m disapointed because of that.

I don’t understand how you can’t recommend strumming patterns. There are a million Youtube videos that literally teach you how to play a song: chords and or tabs, along with strumming patern
+3 is easier chords and better for higher voices!
For the transposer I found that +1 had the easiest chords for me to play. And it didn’t sound all that different.
Make it -4 and put a capo on 4th fret to make it way easier
