10 ukulele chords used in "Dear Happy (feat. Thomas Sanders)" by dodie: A7, Bb, B7, C, Cm, D, D7, Em, G and G7

i like Cm instead of Bb so… yeah but thats just my opinion =3
plucking pattern for the beginning is
———–2—2—
———–1—1—
—2—————-
———————
and you repeat that pattern with the chords for the rest of the song 🙂
a lot of people are saying they switch out Bb for Cm or for C7, but I think it sounds best when you switch out the first Bb of the chorus for Cm and then the second for C7 cause then the vocals fit the chords really well
If you’re having trouble singing this cause you feel like it’s up too high, turn it to -2 and everywhere that there’s an Ab, play G7. It’s what sounds better to me, at least.
Does anyone have another chord for Bb
whats the strumming pattern?
Edim instead of Bbm!!!??
Tbh I prefer this:
Verse: G, Bb, C, Cm
Chorus: G, Bb, C, Cm, G, Cm, D, G
For stuming at the first part I would strum the chord and just as I was about to switch chords I would do a really quick strum. I think it sound better UwU
i much prefer ashrapdim7 instead of b flat
one finger on c string in first fret
on finger on the a string first fret
it sounds more like the dodie version and the harmony works too
Gdim instead of Bb!
Cm NOT Bb thank me later
instead of the Bb for the chorus, I like playing Adim! 😀
the kinoko is me >:D
a
WHATS THE STRUMMING PATTERN
the Bb on “for tonight” sounds wonky
does anyone know the strumming pattern? im not very good with plucking
Yuh thanks for the tips yall
the Bb should be Bb dim – just take out the F (so leave the E string open)
