i personally like saying “messed up” instead of saying “f*c*** up” because i usually sing for my family and i wanna keep it at least a bit pg 13 so

I found the plucking pattern to be alternating between the C string and the A string (the 1st and 3rd strings). The only string you’ll need to move around on is the 3rd (the C string). I use the pattern 4-6-1-2 for the verses, 6-4-8-1-2 for the pre-chorus (what the hell would I be) bit, 1-2-4-6-5-0-4 for the chorus (listen to the song for timing), and then the bridge (I think it’s the bridge?? The “I won’t take no” part) is just the same as the verses (4-6-1-2). I hope this is helpful!!

I pluck the bottom two strings one at a time. So the third string, then the fourth string, and just reapeating that over and over throughout the song
I personally use D D – D U for the pattern

Am I the only one that thinks the C in the chorus just sounds off?
I personally like to pluck the c string, a string, e string, then a string again, two times through with each chord. It sounds really delicate and isnt as dificult as an actual plucking pattern. I do it with a lot of songs if I want it to sound soft and/or emotional.
tip: if you don’t swear, you can sing ‘bumped up as me’
