Intro: Em G Em G

Verse:
Em
There was a time
G
when i was alone
C
Nowhere to go
       G
and no place to call home
Em G
My only friend was the man in the moon
    C G
and even sometimes he would go away too
Em G
Then one night i close my eyes
C G
I saw a shadow flying high
Em
he came to me
         G
with the sweetest smile
C G
told me he wanted to talk for awhile
          Em G
He said "Peter Pan that's what they call me.
C G
I promise that you'll never be lonely."
    Em G D
And ever since that day

Chorus:
Em G
I am a lost boy from Neverland
C G
Usually hanging out with Peter Pan
Em G
And when we're bored we play in the woods
C G
Always on the run from Captain Hook
Em G C G
"Run, run, lost boy" they say to me
Em G C G
Away from all of reality
Em G
Neverland is home to lost boys like me
    C G
And lost boys like me are free

Verse:
Em G
He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe
C G
Believe in him, and believe in me
Em G
Together we will fly away in a cloud of green
C G
To your beautiful destiny
Em G
As we soared above the town that never loved me
C G
I realized I finally had a family
Em G
Soon enough we reached Neverland
C G
Peacefully my feet hit the sand
    Em G D
And ever since that day

Chorus:
Em G
I am a lost boy, from Neverland
C G
Usually hangin' out with Peter Pan
Em G
And when we're bored we play in the woods
C G
Always on the run from Captain Hook
Em G C G
"Run, run, lost boy" they say to me
Em G C G
Away from all of reality
Em G
Neverland is home to lost boys like me
    C G
And lost boys like me are free

  3. Just a Ukulele player

I suggest putting the capo on the first fret, it just sounded better to me;)

  4. WonderlandNightmares

For the strum pattern I do down strokes the whole song. For the verses I do 1 down stroke for every chord, for the chorus I do 2 down strokes per chord until “Neverland is home to lost boys like me / And lost boys like me are free”; when it gets to that part I start doing 1 down stroke per chord again. In the bridge I do 4 down strokes per chord, but that’s just how I like to play it ^_^

  5. mahjortshoj

I learned how to play this on piano first and then the ukulele… its kinda fun to see the difference :)

  6. My favorite song, I’m so glad I found the uke chords! Thank you!

  7. There a pretty piano part before the choru, doe anyone have a fingerpicking tab for that?

    • it’s not exact, but after strumming D, I kept my fingers there and on the strings went 2 3, 2 3 1

    • I strummed D like really slow (so you can hear each individual note) and then played A string with my finger on third fret
Its still not exact but its close enough ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
