I have a question…It might seem strange. But how are your fingers? Are they in pain? ‘Cus mine are aching.

No1Special

Yes very much so! ?

joshisn'trealremember

yes!!!!!

hello folks

think I know why

Sophie Foster

It’s ’cause I like Uke, wanna try?

ali

oh would you be so kind as to play the uke for me? you see I’m trying I know you you know that I can play but that’s not enough so if you will please play the uke for meeee

Hailey

I think, it’s only fair. There’s gotta be some uke talent in there. Wanna play, cause I can play but that’s not enough. So if you will, please play the uke for me.

heh1008

Let’s write a story, ’bout my uke. I think I broke it on one strum. We’re about to puke, oh where are my manners? Here’s a bucket for you, let’s swap fingers today, and ukes too!

tara

i was having a god-awful day and reading this (and singing along) made me smile. thanks :)

Uke ?

I know everybody is saying that -4 is the easiest (and which it is) but for intermediate ukulele players I recommend +1. It’s not too high and the chords get easier the more you practice!

BabyUkulele

You know the newbies are gonna hate you for this right?

Marintha Larsen

Also if the Bb add 9 is too much, you can play just a Bb, ive found that it also works and sounds pretty good!

BbUku

agh ;-; It did get easier, but when I listen to you in the beginning I was like “What is this person talking about, are they crazy?!” haha

ellie

my hands ache from playing this

dannyboye

ikr its so worth it though

Erin.smith

C F+9
I have a question
C F+9
I might seem strange
Am
How are your lungs?
G
Are they in pain?

H.I

What’s after that? The chorus? Thank you this helped soooo much :)

BillieJeanIsNotMyLover

I would not recommend using -4. While it is easier, it doesn’t sound very good.

Emily Luna

Switch all the E chords to C chords and the B chords to G – idk why but those chords didn’t transpose from the original! Should sound a lot better

Emily

Also switch the A chord with F!

padme amidala

well, when you do -4 : make sure you put a capo on the fourth fret, it sounds better then.

heh1008

These chords are actually the real chords, but they’re all with barring the 4th fret. (except for the bridge and the “I like you but that’s not enough so if you would please fall in love with me”)

MJ

-4 but bar the fourth fret and play everything beneath it. (So C would be played on the 7th fret, and fadd9 would be played on the 5th) I think that’s what she does : )

Saltyy

well my fingers look really weird now and my voice hurts I think this was a successful song!

Hannah

-2 is actually pretty easy and not too low to play without a capo in case you were wondering

heh1008

btw, if you want the actual chords go to this link-

(BEWARE! FOR IT SHOWS BARRED CHORDS!)

Hey everyone! so i learned to play this song from watching dodie play it on the video, and if you want to play it as high as she does on the uke i’d recommend this:
play E on the 4th fret, then F#(or Gb) on the 4th fret, then Bm also on the 4th fret, then F# on the 6th fret. for the chorus on “i like you but that’s not enough…” play the original Gbm, Abm, A, then back to F# on the 6th. Hope this helps!!
