Ukulele Songs with Chords and Tabs — the mixed format combines strumming chord progressions with picking out melodic riffs and intros. You’ll see chord notation above the lyrics for the verses, and tab notation for the instrumental parts.
This is intermediate and advanced territory: you need to switch between strumming and fingerpicking smoothly within the same song. Many of the most rewarding ukulele arrangements use this format — the catchy intro hook followed by the singable verse, or a melodic solo bridge that breaks up a chord-driven song.
