11 ukulele chords used in "Bulletproof Heart" by My Chemical Romance: A, Bbm, Bb7, B, Db, D, Ebm, E, F, Gb and Abm

for the intro I do
A– 9 — 9 — 9 — 9 —
E– — 9 — 9 — 9 — 9
C– — — — — — — — —
G– — — — — — — — —
Its really easy and pretty accurate
hi! for this song, there IS an easier alternative fingering to the Db! It works really nice for this song, especially for the transitions between Db and B. It’s essentially the B chord, but slid to a different fret closer to the body.
A—4
E—4
C—5
G—6
Hope this helps anyone!
oh god my hands
I had to stop playing after 5 minutes cuz my hands hurt so bad from the difficult chords ahah but im getting there!
+1 sounds the most like the original
-4 is a little easier.
For the end of the final chorus, I suggest playing the following chords below to match the song accurately:
–
_____Db_______Abm
And we could run away
Bbm_______B
Run away, run away
Db_____________Gb
Run away from here
–
Hope this helps anyone!
this is AWESOME, thank you so much!
I play it transposed +6, and then use the G chord instead of A#….. It’s a lot easier, and not that far off from what the song sounds like. You probably won’t notice unless you’re playing with the music.
For anyone wondering about the STRUM PATTERN:
For the guitar solo/ recognizable riff for the song :
DUDUD D DUDUDUD(muted up at the end to reset strum pattern and switch chord)
Gb Db B Db
(Two series of 8th notes separated by ~quarter rest~ D FLAT QUARTER NOTE)
For the chorus I use what I think is just the island strum (you could also do plucking or flat chords, the chorus is not of high importance
D D U UDU
For the verses I just do DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU, straight 8th notes like a crazy person, there’s probably a better way to do it but it works and it makes the verse sound more like the guitar solo than the chorus and I think that’s important.
Sorry if it sounds like I was trained classically, that’s because I was lollll
Idk just listen to the sound and f*ck around until you find the strum pattern
