8 ukulele chords used in "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane: A, A7, Bm, Dbm, D, E, Esus4 and Gbm

Transpose it +1 it sounds much better (in my opinion)
^ No it doesn’t, its just easier to do
Great tab ! One small mistake A7 should be replaced with Amaj7 . So only scores 9/10 🙂
-2 is easiest for beginners! 😀
I think that A7 sounds completely wrong. It should be a C#minor. It’s a tough chord to play, but just keep it in mind when you do your transposing. I like playing this transposed -2 (it’s easier on my alto voice range). So the first chords are G Bm Am Dsus4 and D. Not too hard. Hope that helps anyone who’s struggling with the way the second chord sounds.
It didn’t sound right for me so I used the Lily Allen version for notes. I did have to improvise for the parts she doesn’t sing but I think it sounds much better! 🙂
play the E chord 4402 it’s easier for me
Aha monkey chimp 109 i know what u mean about the E chord 😉 i cant play it either my hands are too small!
I transpose this 3 half steps up and on the firtst line i change the C7 to an Am and it sounds a lot better!
3+ is easy and sounds pretty good!
you know if a song ends with C its a good song
this is missing something, the intro. the chord progression for the intro is just
A – A – D – A
Bm – D – E
and repeat it 2x if anyone wants to play the intro
hope it helps:))))
I tried some different chords for A7 because it didn’t sound right to me, and I came to the conclusion that Amaj7 sounds much better. It’s easy too. just add one finger lol

the Bm in the verse should acctually be a D/B chord or a simple Bm shape but leaving the bottom (highest) string open
+3 is easiest for me
The A7 isn’t A7 its Amaj7. Other than that, its v good
+3 is very easy !! ♡
If you wanna play it at 3+ and you don’t wanna play Gsus4 you can play c instead, it doesn’t sound quite as good as Gsus4, but it’s close enough for someone who doesn’t know the chords to think it’s c and is a lot easier(I personally like the sound of Gsus4 but if you think the transition is too hard or the chord is the c sounds fine)
Does anybody know the Lily Allen version?
