Verse 1:
G D Em
I close my eyes and I can see
                 C G
The world that's waiting up for me
       D C
That I call my own
G D Em
Through the dark, through the door
              C G
Through where no one's been before
        D C
But it feels like home

Pre-Chorus:
D Em D C
They can say, they can say it all sounds crazy
D Em D C
They can say, they can say I've lost my mind
D Em D C
I don't care, I don't care, so call me crazy
D Em D C
We can live in a world that we design

Chorus:
       G
'Cause every night I lie in bed
    D
The brightest colors fill my head
  Am C
A million dreams are keeping me awake
  G
I think of what the world could be
  D
A vision of the one I see
  Am C
A million dreams is all it's gonna take
 N.C.
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make

Verse 2:
G D Em
There's a house we can build
      C G
Every room inside is filled
     D C
With things from far away
G D Em
 The special things I compile
         C G
Each one there to make you smile
     D C
On a rainy day

Pre-Chorus:
D Em D C
They can say, they can say it all sounds crazy
D Em D C
They can say, they can say we've lost our minds
D Em D C
I don't care, I don't care if they call us crazy
D Em D C
Runaway to a world that we design

Chorus:
G
Every night I lie in bed
    D
The brightest colors fill my head
  Am C
A million dreams are keeping me awake
  G
I think of what the world could be
  D
A vision of the one I see

A million dreams is all it's gonna take
N.C.
A million dreams for the world we're gonna make

Share your dreams with me

You may be right, you may be wrong
                    A C
But say that you'll bring me along
C G
To the world you see
G Am
To the world I close my eyes to see

  1. The easiest picking pattern is to pluck the E and A strings in order with these chords

    G, D, Em7, C

You can also use these for the verses. It sounds really good

this really helped me out to explore the ukulele music world. i already play the violin which is quite different than the ukulele. i really mastered this song in about a month and explored more music that’s more challenging than this. this song helped me become the musician i am now! i now play four instruments! The violin, ukulele, guitar and the piano! Thanks ukutabs i really appreciate it

  3. Lilly Allen

The chord going from d to e minor was a little complicated to do fir a beginner trying to do for a project

  4. For the intro, finger pick the E and A string (Idk how to explain it, just try match it to the song) with the chords G and D and then the C and A string (same rhythm) with the chords Em and C :)

This is one of my fav. Song but I’m getting trouble at the Pre chorus (lol) only a noob like me could never gets that already.

    • i’d say miss out the second D in the pre-chorus… with it the piece is too cluttered so if you simple it to D, Em, C it becomes easier x

  6. The bridge section of the song does not feel nor sound correct. Is their an alternate set of notes to change the bridge so it sound more of the original?

  7. Why does everyone has such amazing usernames?????? I want mine to be March22ndIsEmoChristmas, but idk(hbtfm) to change it.

    • I love this arrangement of this song I just want to learn to fingerpick it. I think it’d sound really cool like that.

  8. March22ndIsEmoChristmas

Why does everyone has such amazing usernames??????

  9. IN the begining if you want it to sound like the real song look up the finger picking notes. Though it makes it harder, it sounds more like the real song

  10. I’d say +5 is the easiest

  11. MeowingCat39

Beautiful! I might play it with my friend! :)

  12. It’s illegal for them to say even a possible strumming pattern.

  13. whats the easiest transposition my good ladies and sirs and others?

  14. the picking / strum is 4-2-1-2-1-2-1

  15. SpaghettiCorgi
