Hi I am here I have a ukulele and I can’t sing
Could you do ‘I’ve Got a Dream’ from Tangled? I want to play it really bad but I can’t find any website that has it.
Strumming pattern??
i find +2 easy
ey i got some stupid tips/things i do that make playing the song easier/sound better:
* use an alternative version of F7 that sounds better probably and is way easier to play! you just bar the fifth fret and place a finger on the sixth fret of the fourth string/A string. it’s 5,5,5,6. you could also probably get away with using F6, which is just the fifth fret barred (5,5,5,5).
* use an alternative Cm, too! yeah im kind of a hoe for alt chords, but it also sounds way better. you have to bar the third fret and then put a finger on the fifth fret of the first/G string (5,3,3,3)
* at the end of the second verse, when it goes Cm F7 G7, i use the two alt chords listed above, and then, instead of using G7 (or G, or any variation of G b/c it just sounds wrong in that spot), i use an alternative version (shocking!) of A. you bar the fifth fret, place a finger on the seventh fret of the first/G string, and place another finger on the sixth fret of the third/E string. it’s the same hand shape you would make for F#/Gb, just slid down to the fifth fret. it’s 7,5,6,5.
* at the very end of the song, with the last Ab Bb7 Eb, i cut out the Eb and just play Ab and Bb7, and then when it says to play Cm7 and F9, i play Cm7, but i substitute the F9 for this one A chord i cant remember the name of. you basically bar the second fret, then put two fingers on the third fret of the second/C and fourth/A strings (2,3,2,3).
That G7 on the “where I’m meant to be” really doesn’t sound right and I can’t figure out a chord to replace it. Anyone got any ideas?
Hi the Ab doesn’t sound right any suggestions?
If you play Am instead of Am7 it sounds better
So for string plucking, you can actually follow this pattern throughout the song:
22324232
*G string=1, and C=2 and so on.*
Intro: 22324232 with C chord x 2
The frist line of the song :
C. G7. C
22324232. 2232. 4232
This should work for the whole song and for some ending words I like to strum once slowly for effects.
This is good just a little hard
for a plucking pattern i use 4 3 1 2 & for the quick transition between f & g i just pluck the A string
4= A string
3= E string
2= C string
1= G string
I think it sounds better with a Bb7 instead of G7 in the line “I’m where I’m meant to go”
Thank you very much
the best TRANSPOSER is 2+ for me at least.
hope this helps 🐢🙃🐢
For me better sounds simple acords, for example
G7 = G
Am7 = Am
etc.
me in 2021 stlll in love with flinn
If you are on -2, it’s not A7 for Flynn’s verse – it sounds better as a C. Hope this helps! 🙂 x
for all my fellow not-sopranos… -2 is pretty good lol
Can u please do waiting in the wings from tangled the Series?
I just went up and down the strings. Going 1 2 3 4 3 2 1 like that. It ended up sounding really nice and its easier to count out the song. The chords are harder to transition though…
