7 ukulele chords used in "You" by dodie: Bb, Cm, D, Eb, F, Gm and Gm7

After the line “it wasn’t gonna be you” when you sing the “oOoh” that transitions into the Chorus, turn the Bb (or equivalent, if you’ve transposed it) into a seventh chord when you go down in melody on the “oOoh” before going into the Chorus and it sounds really nice. I transpose it down 3 cuz I find those chords a bit easier and I just turn the G into a G7 for the lil “oOoh” bit and it works really well.
Hope someone finds this helpful in some way 🙂
Does anyone know what the strumming pattern is? Please? I need help ;-;
I love this song so thank you for putting it up!
Finally I have wanted to play this for so long. Thanks ?
Last note should be b flat
i transpose to +2 and use cmaj7 (2nd fret a string) instead of c
I like to transpose it down three for an easier range
-3 and a capo on the 3rd fret sounds the same as the original if the chords are too hard!! ♡
Here’s what I do for this song. I don’t know how accurate it is, but what sounds good is good.
In the Bb chord, I play the G string on the 2nd fret to play Gm9 instead.
Gm9 Gm7
A-1 A-1
E-1 E-1
C-2 C-2
G-2 G-0
All you have to do is lift off the G string to get to Gm7.
For the verses, I bar the whole 3rd fret for Cm7 instead of Cm, and I use Cm7 in the verses instead of the Eb chord.
This is what it looks like. Each chord is one measure. Let me know if this helps or sounds good! Also, let me know if you want me to add the lyrics to it too.

I prefer the other version of this under dodie, not dodie Clark much better, it is more accurate to the song, and sounds so much nicer!
+2 w/ cmaj7 instead of c
Do +2 and change the c to a cmaj7, it sounds really nice
I tuned my soprano a full step down and put the autoscroll on, it was art. SPICY MEATABOLL YASSSSSSSSS
I think Cmaj7 sounds better than Bb
I love this so much! All the other chords I found sound weird, but this sounded right, even on my soprano uke!
It’s so much fun to play! I LOVE IT!!!
I SUBMITTED THIS TYSMMMM
+2 and -3 are a lot easier 🙂
I love it! The original seems great but it’s a little hard if you’re a beginner, so I think -3 is awesome!
While Dodie plays this song on mostly barre chords which already makes this tab different, the Bb should be a Bbmaj7.
