4 ukulele chords used in "Fool" by Cavetown: Bbm, Db, Gb and Ab

does anyone know replacements for.. uh… eery chord? lmao i have smol child hands
If you want to play the song exactly like the original, put a Capo on the first fret of the G, C and E strings, leaving A open. Then play this consistently:
xA|–4-4–3-3–6-6–8-8——–|
xE|————————————-|
xC|————————————-|
xG|————————————-|
Play ^ for Db, then put a finger on the second fret of G for Bbm (while playing the tune above) and then play an F while playing the tune above for Gb but don’t play the 8, just go back to the 3 , and then play a G instead of Ab.
Sorry If this was confusing, I’m not a pro at ukulele haha. I still hope it helps 🙂

+1 . using the same chord shapes as normal ukulele chords for these chords .
D D DU D D DU (x2 for each chord)
for voice range , it’s higher than the original key , but not too high . it’s close to the original , but not really low and i think it sounds nice . :))

For easy money use -1 with a capo on first fret
+1 is so much easier and sounds just as great. also robin is my smol bean and i am so happy to have more songs by him on here :))
Strumming Pattern:
D(Pause)D D UUU DDU
Play this twice for every chord shown on the lyric sheet
For something easier, swap Db for C, Dbm for Am, Gb for F and Ab for G (I personally found this made the song easier to play, but perhaps that’s just me)
You can put a capo on the first fret and the whole song is easier to play. If you put a capo on the first fret then you play Am instead of Dbm, C instead of Db, F instead of Gb, and G instead of Ab.
+1 and -1 are the best. Super easy while sounding almost better than the original. Strumming: D wait D D UDUDUD for “i am such a fool” and so on. then D once when you get to “I don’t know where i’m supposed to go” and up for oh-oh. hope this helps.
whats the strum pattern??
This songs is amazing and I’m glad to have more CaveTown songs 🙂
I like +6 because the chords are easy and it works good with my voice.
+6
Anyone have a replacement for Ab??
YO THEY LITERALLY DEAD-NAMED HIM WTF
-1 sounds really nice and is the easiest to play. It also fits my voice quite nicely. It might sound weird to use the chords for that long, but it’ll sound great once you play it more 🙂
transpose it to -1
-5 matches my voice better and i find it easier to play if this helps anyone
i find it easier on +4, but that just me 🙂 try it if you find the og difficult like me haha
