7 ukulele chords used in "Devil Town" by Cavetown: Bb, Cm, Eb, Fm, G, Gm and Ab

Who else agrees that Cavetown is the best? Oh, but I wish Sweet Tooth was on here! Please add Sweet Tooth-
I love both versions but v.2 gives it an extra kick that it needs :¬)
we don’t even deserve cavetown like wtf i love him ??
I find it easier to play on -3, it suits my voice better and I easier for me to play.
is it just me that thinks Ab sounds off?
If you can’t do E: Do an E7 chord but only lightly touch your 2 finger on the string. This sounds exactly like an E chord
This is one of the hardest Cavetown songs on ukulele for me :(but it’s one of my favs
dis song pretty sick tho
something i find to be a bit easier is replacing Dm with F and E with Fm during the verses. i also use DDUUDU for the strumming pattern. and then i also do the transpose at -3 but put my capo on the second fret??? bruh idk i play this song weird but i think it sounds good enough lol
I absolutely love this song:) I play it too much
hi depressed people
soooo long story short, my entire body is stuck inside the instrument.
also the bridge is off, but ig thats the least of my worries rn
I’ve been playing the ukelele for 2 weeks now and I find this very easy on -3 yeah um- hi cave town fans-!
What is the strumming pattern? I’m a bit confused
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SONG FOR SO LONG IM SO GLAD THAT THEY ADDED IT
i play it on -3 with a capo on the 2nd fret :T
omg ive been checking this website everyweek for this song and after 7 months they finally have it
if you’re trying to play devil town v2, play at -3!
and right after you finish playing g in the interludes, add your pinky to the third fret of the a string to do what he did 🙂
For Eb, I personally think it sounds better then played
A| 6
E|3
C|3
G|3
And then the Bb played as
A|5
E|6
C|5
G|7
That’s how I put the chords down when I initially transposed it, but I think something was changed in the process, but no worries 🙂
It’s a bit harder this way, but it’s really fun to jam out to it once you get the hang of it!
DEVIL TOWN IS COLDER IN THE SUMMER TIME!
