Intro -2x-: D G Bm G

Verse:
        D G
And now this could be the last of all the rides we take
Bm G
So hold on tight and don't look back
         D G
We don't care about the message or the rules they make
Bm G
We'll find you when the sun goes black

Chorus:
        G A Bm D
And you want to live forever in the lights you make
G A Bm D
When we were young we used to say
         G A Bm D
That you only hear the music when your heart begins to break
G A
Now we are the kids from yesterday

D G Bm G x 2

Verse:
        D G
All the cameras watch the accidents and stars you hate
Bm G
They only care if you can bleed
         D G
Does the television make you feel the pills you ate?
Bm G
Or every person that you need to be

Chorus:
        G A Bm D
And you want to live forever in the lights you make
G A Bm D
When we were young we used to say
         G A Bm D
That you only hear the music when your heart begins to break
G A
Now we are the kids from yesterday

When we were young we used to say
         G A Bm D
That you only hear the music when your heart begins to break

  3. So when I change keys do I need my capo? Like if I wanted to use -2, would I put my capo on the 2nd fret or somewhere else or do I even need a capo?

    • you don’t need it, it just makes it higher or lower but you’d need to sing it according to how the music from the uke sounds (idk how to check how you sing differently but sorta just go with your gut and what sounds right.)

  10. You use the transposer at the top – the little yellow box saying the song title and info in it should have a bar of negative and positive numbers at the bottom of it. You choose one (I usually only do it if it’s necessary to make the chords easier) and it will change the chords for you. If you want to stay in the same key, you put a capo on the same number fret as the one you transposed :) hope i helped a bit

  11. I don’t understand how to change key, Ive Been playing for a while but I still don’t understand?
