8 ukulele chords used in "Oh No!" by Marina and the Diamonds: A, Am, C, Dm, E7, F, G and Gm

On the chorus I like to do a DU then hit the strings to get a nice percussive effect. So it’ll be DU (slap), change chord, DU (slap), change chord, DU (slap), change chord, and repeat till the end of the chorus. I think it adds a nice extra bit of spice to the song and makes it more interesting to play.
i find it sounds better if you replace most E7 with a G cord instead
e7 can also be replaced with other cords during multiples like during Oh Oh no Oh no oh no oh
i play
f c g am g because it sounds nice
For the strumming during the verses, I higly recommend going D—D-DU. When it comes to the bridge, double strum per chord. I play different chords during the chorus so can’t tell you the exact strumming, but I just vibe with that one. Somewhere along DDUDD.
A good strumming pattern I found was dDu (the second d is capitalized because its emphasized)
This song describes getting in trouble with that one Karen teacher
