Verse 1:
               Dbm
You're hard to hug
         A
Tough to talk to
      Gbm
And I never fall asleep
            A
When you're in my bed
        Ab
All you give me is a heartbeat

     Dbm
I've turned into a statue
       A
And it makes me feel depressed
           Gbm
'Cause the only time you open up
   A Ab
Is when we get undressed

Pre-Chorus:
Dbm
   You don't love me
A
 Big f*cking deal
Gbm A Ab
I'll never tell you how I feel
Dbm
   You don't love me
A
 Not a big deal
Gbm A Ab
I'll never tell you how I feel

Chorus:
Dbm E
It almost feels like a joke
Gbm A
To play out the part
Dbm E
When you are not the starring role
Gbm A
In someone else's heart
             Gbm E
You know I'd rather walk alone
          Ab A
Than play a supporting role
   A Ab Dbm
If I can't get the starring role

Interlude: - Dbm A Gbm -

Verse 2:
    Dbm
Sometimes I ignore you
   A Gbm
So I feel in control
       A
'Cause really, I adore you
    Ab
And I can't leave you alone

    Dbm
Fed up with the fantasies
     A
They cover what is wrong
     Gbm
Come on, baby
      A
Let's just get drunk
   Ab
Forget we don't get on

Pre-Chorus:
Dbm
   You like my dad
A
 You get on well
Gbm A Ab
I send my best regards from hell

Chorus:
Dbm E
It almost feels like a joke
Gbm A
To play out the part
Dbm E
When you are not the starring role
Gbm A
In someone else's heart
             Gbm E
You know I'd rather walk alone
          Ab A
Than play a supporting role
   A Ab Dbm
If I can't get the starring role

Bridge:
  Gb
I never sent for love
        Ab A
I never had a heart to mend
  B Dbm
Because before the start began
  Eb E
I always saw the end

      Gb
Yeah, I wait for you to open up
   Ab A
To give yourself to me
    B Dbm
But nothing's ever gonna give
     Eb E
I'll never set you free
- no chords -
Yeah i'll never set you free

Dbm E
It almost feels like a joke
Gbm A
To play out the part
Dbm E
When you are not the starring role
Gbm A
In someone else's heart
             Gbm E
You know I'd rather walk alone
          Ab A
Than play a supporting role

If I can't get the starring role
