Verse 1:
Db Ab Bbm Gb
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to save me
Db Ab Bbm Gb
This all or nothing really got a way of driving me crazy
                   Db Ab Bbm Gb
I need somebody to heal, somebody to know, somebody to have, somebody to hold
             Db Ab
It's easy to say but it's never the same
                Bbm Gb
I guess I kinda liked the way you numbed all the pain

Chorus:
              Db Ab
Now the day bleeds into nightfall
                Bbm Gb
And you're not here to get me through it all
                Db Ab
I let my guard down and then you pulled the rug
                    Bbm Gb
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved

Verse 2:
Db Ab Bbm Gb
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to turn to
Db Ab Bbm Gb
This all or nothing way of loving got me sleeping without you
                       Db Ab Bbm Gb
Now I need somebody to know, somebody to heal, somebody to have, just to know how it feels
             Db Ab
It's easy to say but it's never the same
                Bbm Gb
I guess I kinda liked the way you helped me escape

Chorus:
              Db Ab
Now the day bleeds into nightfall
                Bbm Gb
And you're not here to get me through it all
                Db Ab
I let my guard down and then you pulled the rug
                    Bbm Gb
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved

Bridge:
    Ebm Bbm Ab
And I tend to close my eyes but it hurts sometimes
         Bbm Ebm
I fall into your arms
         Bbm Ab
I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around

Chorus:
                  Db Ab
For now the day bleeds into nightfall
                Bbm Gb
And you're not here to get me through it all
                Db Ab
I let my guard down and then you pulled the rug
                    Bbm Gb
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved

                  Db Ab
But now the day bleeds into nightfall
                Bbm Gb
And you're not here to get me through it all
                Db Ab
I let my guard down and then you pulled the rug
                    Bbm Gb
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved

Outro:
                Db Ab
I let my guard down and then you pulled the rug
                    Bbm Gb Db
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved

Does anyone have any tips for getting better at doing a strumming pattern and singing at the same time? I would really appreciate it if you did!😛

Hello

practice doing the pattern and singing whole notes, then work on doing the melody while singing

Party Panda

DDUUD
it’s really easy, instead of Dm use F LOL, fingers are so sore! :p

CrazyMusicLover

Practice the strumming till you can do it with out thinking, then start humming the melody. :)

guest

try going really slow at first and also try to do the strumming without sign so that its starts to become muscle memory and that should make it alot easier

|-/

If in doubt just do DDUDU but Idk XDDD

Potatouku

before doing the actual pattern, try to strum each note once and sing, eventually you’ll be able to do it.

I’m also a beginner, so i’m not sure if this is something you’re not supposed to do, but here it is anyway: I just started by strumming up and down, and then when i got better at doing that in time and everything, I still moved my hand up and down (like normal up and down strumming), but only touched the strings to strum at certain times. This way you create a pattern that goes better with the song. I probably can’t go on forever that way, but it’s working really well for me right now. (also sorry if that was a confusing and long explanation).

Party Panda

some easier versions I use are DDUUD and instead of Dm use F

ukuplayer

+1 for girl voice :)

jenn luiz
