if anyone is wondering the tabs for the guitar solo is
A 7-6-4slide2-2-2h4-2-2-2
E ——————————-5-4
i can continue but idk how to write tabs so heres my offering, if i get enough upvotes…maybe i’ll continue?
+1 is easy and sounds more like the original
This song is crazy hard
if you have an “average girl voice” i recommend 3rd capo and transpose to +1, works best for me.
I use +1, it is easy. And the strumming is quickU quickD and D hope this helped!
-Lemon boi
I think -4 is really easy
Im really struggling to find a strumming pattern that fits
I personally do +1 with capo on the 1st fret, and then the following strumming patterns throughout the song (CE being the strings):
Intro + verses: CE* on Gm and C, CED on F, CEDU on Dm, final F in all parts is CED D DU
Chorus 1: D DU; final F is same as bridge and done 3 extra times (so 1 in chorus, 3 transition, and then bridge)
Bridge 1: CE(AG)E ((AG) meaning those two together); same plucking pattern as Dysphoric if that helps
Bridge 2: D DU, starting on “…day by day” (Gm C)
Bb6/D C: 2 single down strums
Chorus 2: D for the first half, DDDD starting on Gm
Outro: D DU
I hope literally any part of this makes sense to anyone else lmao, feel free to ask if not
In my opinion +2 is better since I’m more used to those chords, but +1 is also easy :>
Also I did DD for the verses and just one down strum for the chorus and stuffs, hope it helps!
hello i am transposing it +1, but i found the bridge to be too low when i was trying to sing it, so i moved my capo to +2 and used the same +1 chords. found it easier for female voices, and still sounds just as good
Does anyone know what the strumming pattern is in this song, also I dont know much about music, so would the strum pattern change if I moved along the transposer? Thanks to everyone for the help. This song is so good, I love cavetown. <3
i love this song
I found that if you transpose to -4 and put a cap o it still sounds good. ( I’m playing on guitar for this song so it might be different for Uke)
does anyone have easier chords that i can play instead?? even if it’s in another key? i want to play this song sooo bad but i suck at most of these chords
+3 for my voice
I love this song so much! I’m a beginner, but I’ve played guitar before, and that’s kinda similar imo. I transposed it to -1 since I’m more used to the chords 🙂
I think that +3 is really easy, and I have a fairly high voice so it works.
Transpose +3 easy and easier to sing for females with low register
+3 if you can’t sing that low
What does the slash mean in Bb6/ D C
