Intro: B E B E B E B

Verse:
B E B
Got a little soul
     E B E B
The world is a cold, cold place to be
B E B
Want a little warmth
    E B E B
But who's going to save a little warmth for me

Chorus:
Ebm E
We know the fire awaits unbelievers
Dbm B
All of the sinners the same
Ebm E
Girl you and I will die unbelievers
 Dbm B
bound to the tracks of the train

Verse -same as first-:
If I’m born again I know that the world will disagree
Want a little grace, but who’s going to say a little grace for me?

Chorus:
Ebm E
We know the fire awaits unbelievers
Dbm B
All of the sinners the same
Ebm E
Girl you and I will die unbelievers
 Dbm B
bound to the tracks of the train

Bridge:
B Eb E
I'm not excited
                 B Gb
But should I be
             B E
Is this the fate that half of the world has planned for me?
B Eb E
I know I love you
                     B Gb
And you love the sea
                B E
Wonder if the water contains a little drop little drop for me

Verse -same as first-:
See the sun go down
It's going on down when the night is deep
Want a little light but who's going to save a little light for me?

Chorus:
Ebm E
We know the fire awaits unbelievers
Dbm B
All of the sinners the same
Ebm E
Girl you and I will die unbelievers
 Dbm B
bound to the tracks of the train

Bridge -x2-:
B Eb E
I'm not excited
                 B Gb
But should I be
             B E
Is this the fate that half of the world has planned for me?
B Eb E
I know I love you
                     B Gb
And you love the sea
                B E
Wonder if the water contains a little drop little drop for me

love this song! +1 is much easier and sounds the same!

  2. anna.fowler

transposing to -4 and putting a capo on the third fret to stay in the same key for an easier version is what i did! Super easy

  3. I go +1. I use a DDU pattern and between the first and second lines of the verses do DDD to add emphases. Also in the last bridge it sounds better (to me) to do one strum per chord instead of the normal strumming pattern. At the end of the song i add an extra F C to finish it. If you’re have trouble getting to Dm it doesn’t sound too different to use Em7 or Em. Hope this helped!

  4. Definitely transposing up a half step makes the song much more workable for beginners and even some intermediate players

  5. +1 is much easier and sounds great

  6. +1 is very easy and not too far from the original!

  7. Try transposing into -4. Much Easier
