5 ukulele chords used in "Cough Syrup" by Young the Giant: A, Bm, D, G and Ab

I don’t use Ab because there’s such a quick Chang between that and G and it just sounds better with out it.
I like the strumming pattern DD-UU-DU the best!!
This is my favorite song, and it sounds incredible on ukulele!
This sounds good and is easy using -2
this song <3
this is a lovely song! thanks for posting!
Love Love Love this song!!!!! thanks soo much for posting it!!!!!!
+5 sounds the best for me and is also super easy!
-2 is nice
The strumming pattern D-DUDU works pretty good!
The strumming pattern that works for me is
DD-DU-D for most of the song and D-DU for when the words are half a measure (Ex: I should have found by now)
((D means strum down , U means strum up))
What’s the strumming pattern?
I really can’t play the b minor chord, barring or not. Is there an alternative for that chord?
@jadej722 have you tried barring the second fret and putting your ring finger on the fourth fret of the g string?
@jadej722 i thought my hands were too small to play Bm but put your thumb on the middle of your uke and press your finger and thumb together and if that doesn’t work i’m sorry ):
Alternative to Bm? My fingers are too short
for the interlude, i like playing d major (2225), d major 7 (2224), d6 (2222), a (2100), and then g (0232), gsus2 (0230), g5 (x235)
Play a gentle D for the ending
Life too short to eat a carrot whole*
