Verse 1:
Gb B
You know
                    Ebm
I've always been collected, calm and chill
    Gb B
And you know
                 Ebm
I never look for conflict for the thrill
           Db
But if I’m feeling
                 Ebm
Someone stepping towards you, can't describe
              Db
Just what I'm feeling

Chorus:
    B Gb
For you, I’d go
          Abm Db
Step to a dude much bigger than me
    B Gb
For you, I know
            Abm Db
I would get messed up, weigh 153
    A
For you
            B Gb
I would get beat to smithereens

Interlude:
Gb B Ebm
Gb B Ebm

Verse 2:
Gb B
You know
               Ebm
I'll be in the corner taking notes
    Gb B
And you know
               Ebm
I got your six while you're working votes
           Db
But if I'm feeling
                 Ebm
Someone stepping towards you, can't describe
              Db
Just what I'm feeling

Chorus:
    B Gb
For you, I’d go
          Abm Db
Step to a dude much bigger than me
    B Gb
For you, I know
            Abm Db
I would get messed up, weigh 153
    A
For you
            B Gb
I would get beat to smithereens

   Abm
You know I had to do one

You know I had to do one on the record for her

Someone stepping towards you, can’t describe
              Db
Just what I’m feeling

    B Gb
For you, I'd go
              Abm Db
Write a slick song just to show you the world
    B Gb
For you, I know
                       Abm Db
They think it’s messed up to sell out for your girl

For you, I know
            Abm Db

i always thought the bridge said ‘you know i had to do it to em’ so my life? a lie.

Very helpful, although I’m finding it a bit hard to play some of the chords, because I’m still new-ish to ukulele! Any advice you can give to a young player like me? :)

(I read all the other comments and their very helpful, but u don’t know some of the lingo still!)

Hello! This is a very fun song to play, but it is a bit difficult playing some of the chords and switching between them. Honestly, I have to say just to practice. Start out by practicing a few common chords like G, C, Ab, F, etc., and then try to play something like The Judge. It’s good practice for switching chords. Then come back and play the song slowly. Take as much time as you need to get ready for the next chord. If it doesn’t sound right, try to fix it and strum again. Keep practicing and eventually, you won’t even have to think about it much! I’m still having difficulties with this song myself, as I am also relatively new to the ukulele, but I’ve found myself easily playing B and Ebm and Abm without much thought. Db still gets me though, my hands aren’t made for this, lol. I also have a smaller ukulele, though, so that could be it.

I swear this is the cutest song ever and I love it so much!! I’m happy that there’s a tab for it!!

  5. The -6 sounds good uwu

  6. + 1 is much easier for begginers

  7. wesleyshay.05

instead of Gm i use Dm and it sounds just the same/maybe a bit better and it’s easier:)

  8. -1 with a capo on the first fret is fairly easy.

    What is the strum pattern?

    • I use DDU UDU for most of it and then single down strums for the shorter and slower parts

so basically for me i just strum down on each note until the chorus, and (weird as this may sound) i kinda just…go with the flow? like i just go along with how the beat is in the song. i hoped i helped a little :P

    • spookified.kai

ddu udu is the one that works for me :)

  10. Thiccmcnuggs

    +1 is much easier
