5 ukulele chords used in "Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles: B, Db, Ebm, Gb and Abm

All of these chords are wrong
Honestly if you use +1 and CUT OUT any ” -C- ” (just don’t play it; use the notes that come before or after it and adjust to fit in with the rhythm) it sounds pretty spot on. I have no idea why the C is even there because it really kind of messes you up!
does anyone know the strumming pattern ?
What do the -letter- mean?
Love this song, but I’m suprised by how little beatles songs there are! Blackbird, In My Life.. they shoulf be available as chords.
The B chord doesn’t sound right at the beginning. I haven’t played the whole song yet, but the other chords sound right. Any suggestions for the B chord?
Half step up works great!👍🏻😜

Gregg Hawkes has an amazing album of Beatles songs done on the ukulele (all instrumentals). He also has a Youtube video where he plays Eleanor Rigby dressed as each of The Beatles.
Suggestion:
Play a half step up (+1).
Then the chords for the first two lines are:
D – C – G
Em – Am – Cmaj7 – D
Cmaj7 is played like a C but fretted at the second fret instead of the third fret.
I do that :
C . Am . G7 . G
Refrain :
C. G7 . C . G7 …
After that it is very arranged and can be done better.. 😉
play it with the +1 chords but tune the instrument down a half step
recorder
Is this for the flute or the reporter?
Some of these chords are IMPOSSIBLE for me to play.
+1 definatly
+1
Put it on -4. This is really cool.
It’s a whole lot easier a half step up
