DDUUDU-DDUUDU is the strumming pattern that I use; it is super easy to maintain whilst singing and playing along with the actual song.

  2. I’m new to Uke’s and any instrument really. I can read Uke Tabs but I’m not sure how to play the above. The cords are over certain sets of words. Do I play the cord over a set of words until the next cord and then continue. For example, When I find myself in times of trouble. To I play C until “in” and then transition to G?

    • Ok so the way to read tablatures is you just sing the song and when the chord name shows up over the word you hit the chord when you hit the spot it’s sitting over

    • Yes! You basically play whatever chord until the next one comes up. If you know the song well, you can obviously monkey around with it but since you are pretty new to it I would do that. Good luck!

    • yup that sounds about right, play the chord continuosly until the next one comes along :)

    • exactly, you just play that cord through until the next one

    • hey, usually i just listen to the song itself and have a play around and see what sounds best for me, uke is very adaptable so there isnt really a right or wrong way to play, just use the chords above as a guide rather than a set piece :)

    • Wintermoon2005

Most of the time you play until the next chord comes up, there are certain songs though where you only strum once but it gets easier the more you practice and get to know the songs what you need to do

  3. there’s a different way to play the f-em-dm-c transition and i think that this versions prettier… instead i use f to am to g to c. in my opinion it sounds a lot better.

  4. pickup a pickup

    amazing song and so easy!

    thanks for the tab :)

  6. There have been a lot of comments about the F-em-dm-C. One easy way to play that is using just the E and C (i.e., second and third) chords. You’d play:

    A: ———
    E: -5-3-1-0-
    C: -5-4-2-0-
    G: ———

  7. I found it a bit easier to not play all the notes on the let it be and instead only played F and then C

  8. This song is great and sounds good! It’s not as hard as told to be once you’ve mastered the F Em and Dm switch.
