Verse ( same as first ):
When popstars still remained a myth
And ignorance could still be bliss
And when God saved the Queen she turned a whiter shade of pale
When my mom and dad were in their teen
and anarchy was still a dream
and the only way to stay in touch was a letter in the mail
Chorus:
E Gbm A E
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
E A B
In 77 and 69 revolution was in the air
E Gbm Dbm A
I was born too late to a world that doesn’t care
E Gbm A E
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
Verse ( same as first ):
When record shops were on top

and footballers still had long hair and dirt across their face

E Gbm A E
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair
E A B
In 77 and 69 revolution was in the air
E Gbm Dbm A

5 ukulele chords used in "I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker" by Sandi Thom: A, B, Dbm, E and Gbm

Great song! I like +3 the best but i wish the chords were shown for every verse… i would save the struggle of having to scroll up and down so much
Love it! but to avoid the dbm i like to do 2 half steps down with capo on 2 🙂
-4 is even easier 😉
+3 is really easy for beginners, and if you’ve a high voice. 🙂
