6 ukulele chords used in "Cigarette Daydreams" by Cage the Elephant: A, Bm, D, Dmaj7, Em and G

Use Gbm instead of Dmaj7 (you hear it too right?)
literally no one asked but the strumming pattern is:
d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d
d d-d-d-d-d-d-d
d-u-d-u-d-u
d-d-d
d-d-d
I think it sounds best on -2
go -2 and play E instead of Gbmaj
Transpose to -2 for best quality (in my opinion)
Very good. Easy and sounds good if you transpose it down -2.
I use Gb instead of Gbmaj, sounds a bit better in my opinion
I replaced the Gbmaj chord by Em and it sounds amazing!
Good work.
The Dmaj7 does not sound right to my ear. Dmaj7 may be correct but I replace it with a Gbm.
the replacement for Dmaj7 is A and D
the intro goes D, Gbm, Em, G, Em-G-Gbm-A-D. play each chord how it sounds in the song, something like d/udddddd (“/” means a quick down/up)
it’s F#m not maj
Dude im a beginner and i dont know what f#m is help
For the original key use A instead of F#
For ukulele use F#m instead of Dmaj7 it sounds better but other than that its good 👍
this song is honestly so beautiful. just replace dmaj7 with gbm and you have the loveliest song ever played on a ukulele. ❤️
i would like it but i dont wanna ruin the 444
The F#maj is an F# minor, much closer to the original.
whats f#maj
F#Maj7 in chorus should be F#- (aka Gflat- However F#- is more accurate as we are in the key of D which has F# & C# accidentals and chords) In the verse D to F#- (which is the top three notes of a DM7 anyway) sounds more like the actual guitar voicing of D to DM7. Aloha!
