Intro:
Gbm F A B7
Gbm F A B7

Verse 1:
     Gbm F
Been traveling in packs that I can't carry anymore
A B7
Waiting for somebody else to carry me
        Gbm F
There's nothing that's left for me at my door
        A B7
All the people I knew aren't who they used to be
     Gbm F
And if I try to change my life for one day
            A B7
There would be nobody else to save
    Gbm F
And I can't change into a person I don't wanna be
-nc-
So, oh, it's Saturday night

Oh, oh, it's Saturday night, yeah
Gbm Dbm
Swear to God, I ain't ever gonna repent

Mama, can I get another amen?
Gbm
Oh, oh, it's Saturday night, yeah

Verse 2:
Gbm Bm
Every morning when I wake up
Gbm Db7
I wanna be who I couldn't say I've ever been
         Gbm Bm
But it's so much more than I ever was
   Gbm Db7
If every night I go to sleep knowing
      Gbm Bm
That I gave everything I have to give
          Gbm Db7
Then it's all I'd ever ask for
          Gbm Bm
I've been standing up aside everything I've ever said
-nc-
Oh, it's Saturday night

Oh, oh, it's Saturday night, yeah

  1. an absolute madlad

you can apply this to any chords you use, but for the intro and verses, it sounds more like the original if you pick like this:
    G ——————————————————————————————————————————-
    C —————2—————————-1———————————0———————————2———-
    E ———–1—————————-0———————————1———————————3—————
    A ——2————–2————2————–2—————-2—————-2————–4—————–4–

(a string, e string, c string, and then a string again)

  8. Actual trash for anything phan related and or emo

    H*cka bop and I stan

  9. Eric is a trash can

I use one strum for the chords on the verses and cut the f out and for the bridge I do the same and on the chorus I do I play only the a instead of the a flat minor and d flat 7 on ‘night’

  10. The random pianist trying to make sense of all this

Play Bm instead of F. Just a suggestion.

  11. Kat In The Hat

    Gbm A D B7

  12. ya welcome

If this helps, transpose to +5 and play B instead of Bb

  13. xAnathema

Instead of F I used Aaug

    A – 0
    E – 1
    C -1
    G – 2

  16. just a girl with a ukulele

I was playing around with the chords and F didn’t sound right… Try replacing the F with a D, it sounds better :)

  17. LillyTheUkuFreak

C_Minor Sarah, I’m having the same problem! I substituted it for Dm…but it still doesn’t sound quite right…

  18. Luciana Aguilar

+3 and use G instead of Ab

  19. I know the F in the verse sounds terrible! so if any of yall want an easier and better sounding alternative, I suggest Gbm A B Gbm :)

  20. Boredness
