Verse:
          Dm G C
Do I look lonely? I see the shadows on my face,

People have told me, I don't look the same,
        Dm G C
Maybe I lost weight, I'm playing hooky,
                     Dm G C
With the best of the best, put your heart on my chest so that you can see it too,

Pre-Chorus:
                F Fm C Am
I'm walking the long road, watching the sky fall
                 Dm D G
The lace in your dress tangles my neck, how do I live?

Chorus:
               Am D F C
The death of a bachelor, oh oh oh, letting the water fall,
               Am D F C
The death of a bachelor, oh oh oh, seems so fitting for,
             Am D F C

              Am D F C
a lifetime of laughter at the expense of the death of a bachelor

  1. a sad soprano

I had to transpose to -5 bc I cant sing low enough :’(. It doesn’t sound like the original but i still love.

  2. panictrash

    I think the verse should go Dm7, G7, Cmaj7, then C#dim7.

  11. lalizzziela

    i like -5

    • ShadowGamer7YT

-5 is not really that good, even though your chords are easier, it is too high pitched at that point, sorry lalizzziela, but you have to learn if you got the right pitch, unless you have a different ukulele *I got a concert*

  12. wait why y'all

    • MeredythC

She’s a YouTuber who used to do a lot of Ukulele and piano covers, but now she does mostly original songs, she has (I think, don’t quote me) 2 albums out now, I always forget how many!

    • She’s a YouTuber with a great personality. She makes videos and covers, so I recommend checking her out.

    • PastelLizz

Dodie is a ukulele and guitar player famous on youtube for her original songs and ukulele covers shes pretty cool check her out if you haven’t

  13. stop fighting yall

alright h*es, BRENDON’S original version is the best. But DODIE has the best COVER of the song, stop fighting guys. It’s stupid as h*ll, and I love dodie and brendon so much! Dodie and Brendon are just a lil Bi Beans.
