+5 seems easier for me :)

  2. -2 with capo on the first fret sounds good to me

  3. i like -2 a lot my voice can reach it and its easier i guess

  4. Ok. So what I would recommend is on the oh’s with D Em and Bm, in the 2,3, and 4 ones and on the outro you should do A and then D because it kind of makes it sound like the song

  5. Aleynagauthier

    My arm hurts

  6. How fast should I play this if I’m gonna sing to it?

  7. rylea_jsow

@Anna Rose Thank you!!! I need that!!

  8. ChristineAnsley

It’s definitely “ne’re-do-wells”. If you listen to the Piano version on Youtube where its just Brendan Urie singing and playing the piano he says it. Naturals wouldn’t make much sense, since the song is talking about people who are kind of the rabble of society.

  9. NOTE : TRANSPOSE THIS 2 HALF STEPS DOWN IT SOUNDS MUCH BETTER IS SOOO MUCH EASIER AND IS IN TUNE TO BRENDON

  10. Emmilyn Cline

Is there any alternatives for bm?

  11. These are the chords used in the ACOUSTIC VERSION of This Is Gospel on on the piano, not the original song. These chords are spot on but instead of just D Em Bm in the chorus and verse I’ve added an A chord because I like how it sounds

  12. Killjoyforever

    Strumming pattern ?

  13. TwentyOnePanicStans

The best strumming pattern I think is DDUUDU

  14. -2 with capo on 1st fret sounds just like the original to me!!

  15. twenty one jishwas

So nobody is noticing the incorrect lyrics? It’s “naturals and insufferable bastards”. Not “ne’re-do-wells”

    • No it IS “ne’re-do-wells”

(i like how they spelled “Brendon” wrong.)

  16. I personally like C as the closing chord instead of D…

  17. sky2ocean

The piano riff is right before the second verse and its on the A 5-7-9-7-55-7-9-7 played four times

  18. -2 is easy

  19. A good strumming pattern would be D D-U D D-U
If you search The Ukulele Teacher on YouTube, he will teach you how to play and that’s the strumming pattern he uses.

  20. I like to hold down all the strings in the beginning and strum D UD UD UD UD in the beginning to imitate the heartbeat sound
