8 ukulele chords used in "This Is Gospel" by Panic! at the Disco: A, A7, Bm, D, Em, Gbm7, G and G6

I like how all his songs have emo in the genres xp
who agrees his songs are emo XP
after d, em, bm, i add an a at the end because it sounds nice 🙂
I find that in the verse after you play Bm strum A major
i play it with dduudu and at -2 and it sounds nice to me
It’s definitely “ne’re-do-wells”. If you listen to the Piano version on Youtube where its just Brendan Urie singing and playing the piano he says it. Naturals wouldn’t make much sense, since the song is talking about people who are kind of the rabble of society.
I’m new to ukulele, and I’m wondering what everyone means by change it to -2? I’m very confused. Thanks xx
It sounds really cool on the verses if you only strum the c string and the e string
-2 with capo on the first fret sounds good to me
i like -2 a lot my voice can reach it and its easier i guess
Literally the best panic song.
ME: **singing**
my brothers: aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!
me: *** look at them stupidly
me: you need gospal music.
them: no…..
me: nooooooooooooo!!!!!!
Post Chorus:
A|—————————————-
E|——-0-2-0—–0-2-0—————-
C|—-2——–2-2————————
G|————————————-
Brendon this is not a gospel
i find 0 is best for me
-2 with a capo of the second fret is a bit easier and you stay in the same key
For the verses I think it sounds really good if you do C, Dm, and the Am and C fingers at the same time 🙂
+5 seems easier for me 🙂
Ok. So what I would recommend is on the oh’s with D Em and Bm, in the 2,3, and 4 ones and on the outro you should do A and then D because it kind of makes it sound like the song
My arm hurts
How fast should I play this if I’m gonna sing to it?
