6 ukulele chords used in "Casual Affair" by Panic! at the Disco: Bbm, C, Db, Eb, Fm and Ab

I agree that -1 is easier and gets that tricky Ab chord out of the way, but I do believe that the original sounds a lot better and is easier to hit the notes for my vocal range! Honestly, do what you think is best.

I. LOVE. THIS. SONG.
for -1 e7 after the b chord sounds nice
-1 with a capo on the first fret works well 🙂
if you want to do a more slowed-down version, I usually add a c7 after the c in the chorus idk
+4 is gr8 if you are a beginner
IF U NEED HELP WITH THE AB CORD HERES SOME ACTUAL HELPFUL INFORMATION, press your first finger against the c e a strings (bottom three) in the 3rd fret thennnn place your second finger on the e string 4th fret and then your 3rd finger on the g string 5th fret
I would like to say for those struggling, try transposing it to +2. I think it’s a lot easier and it sounds good as well.
here’s some notes that may help
-strum patter DDUUDU
-use Db instead of Bbm
-add a C7 chord after the c cause it sounds spicy idk
-use Cadd9 instead of Ab (idk about that one but i personally think it sounds a lot better)
this is great!
if any of you are struggling with Ab you can put you hands in the G position and then put your pinkie on 1st string, 4th fret
so fun to play
I personally believe that transposing it up to +4 makes it much easier.
What should I do for a strum pattern?
This song is super fun to play, I love it so much!
Transpose down to -1 and then instead of just leaving it as
B
A casual affair
play it like this (it just sounds a bit nicer to be honest)
B B7
A casual affair
Anyone else think the Ab sounds wrong?
Playing it +4 and changing the E to E7 makes it a lot easier for beginners 🙂
adding a g right after the b makes it better for closing the chorus
-1
