Verse:
Bb Dm Cm
Hear my voice
        Gm F Eb
I came out of the woods by choice
Bb Dm Cm
Shelter also gave us shade
       Gm F Eb
In the dark I have no name

Bb Dm Cm
So leave that click in my head
         Gm F Eb
I will remember the words that you said
Bb Dm Cm
With a clouded mind and heavy heart
       Gm F Eb
But I am sure we'll see a new start

Chorus:
Gm F Bb Eb
So when your hopes on fire
Gm F Bb Eb
      But you know your desire
            Gm F
Don't hold a glass over the flame
               Bb Eb
Don't let your heart grow cold
      Gm F
I will call you by name
       Bb Eb
I will share your load

Verse:
Bb Dm Cm
I wrestled long with my youth
           Gm F Eb
I find it hard to live in the truth
Bb Dm Cm
But do not tell me all is fine
                Gm F Eb
When I lose my head, I lose my spine

Bb Dm Cm
So leave that click in my head
           Gm F Eb
I will remember the words that you said

For the missing half of the chorus, I just play the chords in the order that they are for the verses, and I kinda wing the timing. It’s improvisational, but it sounds fairly decent. (Better than just skipping that part altogether!)

  2. WHAT!?! Half of the chorus is missing, and that’s like the best part! It doesn’t make sense to cut it out.

    +2 is easier

  4. so are we just not gonna talk about how half of the chorus is missing???
