Intro: Gb B Gb

          B E B
You were cold as the blood through your bones
         E B Abm
And the light which led us from our chosen homes
   E B
Well I was lost

           B
And now I sleep
           E B
Sleep the hours and that I don't weep
        E B Abm
When all I knew was steeped in blackened holes
 E B
I was lost

Chorus:
Abm E B Gb
Keep the earth below my feet
Abm E B Gb
For all my sweat, my blood runs weak
Abm E B Gb
Let me learn from where I have been
        E Abm E B
Keep my eyes to serve and hands to learn
Gb E Abm E B
Keep my eyes to serve and hands to learn

        B
So I was still
     E B
I was under your spell
       E B Abm
When I was told by Jesus all was well
     E B
So all must be well

              B
Just give me time
         E B
You know your desires and mine
         E B Abm
Wrap my flesh in ivory and in twine
   E B
For I must be well

  1. +1 is easier for those who like to sing higher and -4 is easier for those who like to sing lower.

  2. I have no idea either, but I think a somewhat fast (down, down,up,up,down,up) works for the chorus, but the rest I’m lost.

  3. I tried to figure out what the strumming pattern for this song was, but I didn’t. So if anyone knew that would be greatly appreciated.

  4. I have noticed that there are no other comments but if anyone see’s this is like to ask for the strumming pattern to this song
