remember keys
E
She’s like cold coffee in the morning
A
I’m drunk off last night’s whisky and coke
E
She’ll make me shiver without warning
A
And make me laugh, as if I’m in on joke

             Gbm A E
And you can stay with me forever
             Gbm A B
Or you could stay with me for now
                    Dbm
And tell me if I’m wrong
                     E
And tell me if I’m right
                         Gbm
Tell me if you need a loving hand
A E
To help you fall asleep tonight
              Dbm
Tell me if I know
              E
Tell me if I do
                         Gbm
Tell me how to fall in love
A E
The way you want me to

E
I’ll wake with coffee in the morning
A
But she prefers two lumps of sugar and tea
E
Outside, the day is up and calling
A
But I don’t have to be
A
So please go back to sleep

Gbm A E
And you can stay with me forever
             Gbm A B
Or you could stay with me for now
                    Dbm
And tell me if I’m wrong
                     E
And tell me if I’m right
                         Gbm
Tell me if you need a loving hand
A E
To help you fall asleep tonight
              Dbm
Tell me if I know
              E
Tell me if I do
                         Gbm
Tell me how to fall in love
A E
The way you want me to

       Gbm A E
Cos I love the way you wake me up
        Gbm A B
For goodness sake, will my love not be enough?

Gbm A E
And you can stay with me forever
             Gbm A B
Or you could stay with me for now
                    Dbm
And tell me if I’m wrong
                     E
And tell me if I’m right
                         Gbm
Tell me if you need a loving hand
A E
To help you fall asleep tonight
              Dbm
Tell me if I know
              E
Tell me if I do
                         Gbm
Tell me how to fall in love
A E
The way you want me to

tell me if I’m wrong
                     E
And tell me if I’m right
                         Gbm
Tell me if you need a loving hand
A E
To help you fall asleep tonight

The chords are the easiest* when you transpose -4!!! And it sounds very lullaby-ish when played there.

I really like it at -2, mainly because Ed’s voice does that thing where it’s too low for me to sing normally and it’s too high when I sing it and octave higher. :p

I love the way it sounds in +3!
