you dont like the original tabs, -3 is a good alternative for lower voices and +2 s a good alternative for higher voices in my opinion.

  • Krayzzzf00l says:

I used to play this song a while back, and just recently pulled it up again to bring it back to memory, and I remember the original chords being completely different…. After fiddling around -3 sounds the best and is most similar to what I remember playing, except in the course B and Bb should instead be F and E7.. It just sounds better that way to me. :)

What can I say- its the theme tune of the phandom, it can’t go wrong ;)

Just kidding. The chords fit the tune perfectly!

the only thing I can ever think of when I hear this song anymore is Phil’s terrible attempts at “bAyHbee cant you see”

    • hi.there says:

Yess!! Why I looked up this song

  • heatherisforever says:

Can they not say “same chords as before” because I have to go back and look at the chords again in order to remember

  • martinezfan says:

if you dont transpose it, then instead of B and Bb use G# and G7. i think it sounds better but hey you do you.

  • mkochsch says:

Why do we credit Britney Spears with this song? This is a Cathy Dennis song.

    • leepttrsn says:

Because Cathy Dennis is the song writer, not the original performer. She produced the demo, tried to sell it to Kylie Minogue. Kylie rejected it and Britney accepted it and recorded it in the studio. That’s how the music industry works, pal.

  • jamesyoung says:

is there any alternative to Db? My hands are too small for it and in my opinion it sounds kind wird (probably because my hands are too small to play it properly)

  • SetsuPlatinum says:

I prefer F and G as opposed to the D and Db. It sounds a lot better to me.

  • jadeannpenny says:

is there an alternative for Db=c#??

  • boop says:

hey thanks for this i might record myself singing it and send it to dan and phil lol

  • Georgenius says:

When it is transposed down to -2, I change the B chord to an F and I change the Bb chord to an E.

  • Georgenius says:

Also, if you can’t do an E chord very well then here are the chords transposed:
    Am will change to Dm
    C will change to F
    E will change to A
F will change to a Bb

I find this to be much easier.

  • Georgenius says:

    For example:

    Dm
    Too high, Can’t come down

    Dm F
Losing my head spinning round and round

    A Dm
    Do you fell me now?

    Dm Bb
With a taste of your lips, I’m on a ride

    F A
    You’re toxic, I’m slipping under

    Dm Bb
With a taste of poison paradise

    F A Dm Bb
I’m addicted to you, don’t you know that you’re toxic

    F A
And I love what you do, don’t you know that you’re toxic?

  • Georgenius says:

Woah, the comment thing messed that up a bit. Here should be a more readable version (ignore the lines):

    Dm_______________________
    Too high, can’t come down

    Dm______________________________________F
Losing my head spinning round and round

    A____________________Dm
    __Do you feel me now?

    _______Dm_____________________Bb
With a taste of your lips, I’m on a ride

    F______________A________________
    _You’re toxic, I’m slpping under

    _______Dm___________________Bb______
With a taste of your poison paradise

    _______F________________________A______________________
I’m addicted to you, don’t you know that you’re toxic?

  • KamMix says:

The chords are really good, for the most part! I found -3 much easier for me not only to play, but to sing as well! If you want it easier and don’t have a lower voice, then you can always stick to the higher voice and lower playing kinda like a harmonization because that sounds really good too! I kinda switch between the both. And also, the cords sound way better and much easier to play if you switch “B” to “F” , “Bb/A#” to “Em” and also switch “E” to “Em” if you have a hard time playing “E” like I do! I actually think that “Em” sounds way better in my opinion, but it all depends on how you choose to play the piece!

  • bleepbloopsneepsnoop says:

ok nothing important here but i love ho it says that the genre is britney spears, yeah thats it.

  • BridgetteWeasley says:

Replace D and Db with F and G and it sounds way better :)
