3 ukulele chords used in "ilomilo" by Billie Eilish: Cm, Fm and Gm

hey y’all, i’m the one who submitted this and i just wanna say that your feedback is greatly appreciated <3
this song makes me think of black and dark purple
hello!
so my recommendation is to transpose it to -3 and put the capo on the third fret, it’s very easy.
once you’ve done this, my recommendation is to change the am at “won’t you stay inside” and “they keep me up at night” to an em, it sounds more like the song
have a nice day! 🙂
D-U hit is the strumming pattern
I tried to learn this song a few months ago when i was an absolute beginner, its only been like 4 months but I’ve improved a lot. I literally replaced the chords with F, C, and G, and there’s nothing wrong with that but it didn’t give it the sound I wanted. I cannot believe how much I have improved in a short amount of time (although barre chords still suck and I can hardly play the super common E chord)
I think ^^^^ ^^^^
—–x—–|
-x———| play this once for every chord change
—x——-| or at the start of a measure
——–x–|
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
—x——-x—–| after that first section,
——————| repeat this for the rest of that chord
-x——-x——-| or until the next measure
—–x——-x—|
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Hope I helped! I’m sorry if its confusing I’ve never tried writing tabs-
I think U-D-U-hit is a good strumming pattern but you gotta be quick about it
I could play this song once I learn those notes
The strumming pattern I use is D-D-U-U-D-U
Not gonna lie but -2 sounds pretty good to me 🙂
strumming pattern sounds good as u-hit over and over
Cm after verses sounds off…….
OMG THIS IS GREAT BUT THE SONG IS SO SAD~
-2 sounds cool :00 (if u put a capo on fret 2 😉
I decided to change the chords to F, C, and G, as a beginner uke player. It sounds lovely!
Anyone have any replacement suggestions for Fm?
i found dduudu also works as a strumming pattern
what’s the strumming pattern?
Instead of fm cm fm cm in the verses I found that fm cm fm g sound more accurate
