Intro:
My Lucifer is lonely

Verse:
Em C
Standing there, killing time, can't commit to anything but a crime
Am B7
Peter's on vacation, an open invitation
Em C
Animals, evidence, Pearly Gates look more like a picket fence
Am B7
Once you get inside 'em, got friends but can't invite them

Pre-Chorus:
Em
   Hills burn in California
C
   My turn to ignore ya
Am B7
   Don't say I didn't warn ya

Chorus:
Em C
All the good girls go to Hell
                    Am B7
'Cause even God herself has enemies
    Em C
And once the water starts to rise
                     Am B7
And Heaven's out of sight, she'll want the Devil on her team

Post-Chorus:
Em C Am B7
       My Lucifer is lonely

Verse:
Em C
Look at you needing me, you know I'm not your friend without some greenery
Am B7
Walk in wearin' fetters, Peter should know better
Em C
Your cover up is caving in, man is such a fool, why are we saving him?
Am B7
Poisoning themselves now, begging for our help, wow

Pre-Chorus:
Em
   Hills burn in California
C
   My turn to ignore ya
Am B7
   Don't say I didn't warn ya

Chorus:
N.C. C
All the good girls go to Hell
                    Am B7
'Cause even God herself has enemies
    Em C
And once the water starts to rise
                     Am B7
And Heaven's out of sight, she'll want the Devil on her team

Post-Chorus:
Em C Am
       My Lucifer is lonely
B7 Em
-There's nothing left to save now-
C Am
My god is gonna owe me
B7 -Em-
-There's nothing left to save now-

Outro:
Em C Am B7
Ha, ha, I cannot do the snowflake

  1. strumming pattern?

  2. -7 was the easiest for me

  3. hey all ;)
just a heads up, instead of B7, E7 works great as a replacement
also, I think the original is great but just substitute for these if you need

  4. ukulele person

    +5 is easier for me

  5. try +5 with a constant downward strumming ;) hope this helps! <3

  6. B7 doesn’t so too good so I suggest using B :)

  7. Finneas’s little sister

This is the best Billie Eilish song for lyrics by far, they are super clever! This is my favourite song!

  8. wherearetheavocados

    +5 is easiest

  9. plutopeach

    b o p

My advice for playing B7 is play it like this:

    0000
    0010
    0200
    3000

It’s a much more efficient way to play it, and makes for easier transitions.

  11. -2 is easy and sounds good

  12. I figured like 95 bpm and just one strum per chord works the best.

  13. Dashalavr

    Easiest is -7

  14. The “in need of a strumming pattern”

    Strumming pattern?

  15. ilovehernewhair

i think plain b sounds better instead of b7

  16. But I didn’t go to hell
