5 ukulele chords used in "SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK" by Joji: Cm, Eb, Fm, G and Ab

chloe moriondo strumming pattern please
Hi guys! so after a LOT of practice I can finally sing Slow Dancing in the Dark while playing the ukulele ToT
This is how I play it and btw I use +2 and play the chords F, Dm, Gm, A, and Bb because I think they are easier than other chords.
For the strumming:
=> Intro
I pluck the strings C, then E, then A, then E. Two sets of that per chord except for A wherein I only do one set and then pluck G
**You may/may not play the intro but I play this because I personally think it sounds cooler xD
=>Verse
I play the chord while strumming D Ux then use my left hand to mute the strings and strum U U U DDU
=>Pre=chorus
I use the same pattern with the verse and i coordinate it with how I sing
=>Chorus
Play the chord and strum D UD U U U DDU
and that’s about it. I hope this helps. you may or may not follow this or use it as reference as to how you really want to play the song. have a great day 🙂
You can also play this song by repeating the chords Eb, Cm, Fm, and G in that order while finger picking c e a e twice for each chord.
the lyrics are messed up haha
for all peeps from Chloe Moriondo use +2
the strum pattern i use (it sounds like chloe moriondo’s but it might not be exactly the same) is D-UD-UDU-UD. the first D is the actual chord and the rest is strumming with the strings muted. you can also just strum the chord and tap your uke 7 times instead of strumming
i like +4 better 🙂
I think the chloe Moriondo strumming is DUX XXX*X*X the 5th X is down all the other ones are up. HOpe that makes sense.
Strumming pattern??
Anyone know alternative chords for this? Fm and G sound weird to me 🙁
Thanks! 🙂
-3 is much more easier to play with a capo on the 3rd fret and it sounds just like the song :))
in 0, the G sounds out of key so I just use Ab.
+2 I like to use A7 instead of A. 🙂
I do D U mute (UUDDUU) for verse n pre chorus. Then, i do D D UUDDUU for chorus, but i start playin F at the last “can you?”. Chords in () = do it while mute the strings. Hope you understand bcs my english is not really that good and i try my best to explain it to y’all
i replaced Bb with Am
am i the only one who can’t transpose it?
You’re an angel thank you!! I just came from her video
what is +2 im so confused
idk exactly the strumming pattern but I think it sounds good with just a low D D
btw +2 is great
gm sounds better than g in my opinion 🙂
