5 ukulele chords used in "Lucky People" by Waterparks: Cm, Db, Eb, Fm and Ab

I just got me a girlfriend (wlw) and I am so going to sing this song for her. Whenever I hear this song I think about her.
-1 with your uke tuned G4# C4# F4 A4# sounds amazing, but remember to be careful when tuning your uke up lol i’m not responsible for you breaking your uke strings
-3 with the capo on the 3rd fret! (sounds amazingggg)
y’all need more waterparks songs !!
I LOVE WATERPARKS, UKUTABS NEEDS MORE SONGS BY THEM, LIKE DIZZY AND ALL THE DOUBLE DARE OR SONGS OR WAIT BETTER YET, ALL OF THEIR SONGS.
this is great! just a couple of things i’d change:
-in the chorus and interlude, Em should be Bm (when transposed -1)
-for the pre-chorus, i’d change it to this to make it more like the original:
G
Because I know it’s hard to let yourself be fine
Bm
When we carry ’round our worried flurried minds
C
But I’ll let go if you do
Cm
too
I found that the way to do it without the capo is to put it on -1 and also on the end of the Pre-Chorus it should go:
C. Cm
But I’ll let go if you do too
It sounds much better this way
“Let’s be lucky people you and me”
Should be Fm, Eb, Ab
Otherwise I love this 🙂
an easier version if you have a capo since the transitions are a little tricky the original way:
*capo on 3rd fret*
ab= f
cm= am
fm= dm
eb= c
db= Bb
This song is beautiful and it reminds me of my ex but in a good way, thank you
Are there any transposes that actually sound like the original song or nah? I’m getting really frustrated about it. Same happened with 21 questions on another website. I wanna play in the key of the original song man 🙁
does this song need a kapo because when i play it normally it sounds weird
Any alternatives for Dd? I just find it really hard to play
Beautiful!!! I love this song
For the strum pattern, try:
DD UDU DD UDU
Once for the first two chords then half of it for the third and fourth then once again for the last chord.
This is great! Thanks for making it.
If you go to -1 and capo the first fret it sounds much better.
For me it’a easier to use +4. Try it out if you want! I think it’s the easiest out of all the other ones. And for the strumming pattern just watch the original video on YouTube to listen to it and you’ll hear the strumming pattern (since I can’t just tell you the strumming pattern due to copyright reasons and that’s how i got my strumming pattern too). I hope you find this useful 😉
+4 is really nice and pretty easy
This is really great!!!
