6 ukulele chords used in "We’re Going To Be Friends" by The White Stripes: A, C, Cadd9, D, G and G6

i love this song. even though the only reason i knew it was because it’s in the beginning of napoleon dynamite lol
I like to use this pattern instead of what’s given:
——–2———-2—–
—————————
—2———————-
————-0————
I use this for every chord except for the Cadd9, on that one I do this: (it matches the vocals more)
——–3———-3—–
—0———————-
—————————
————-0————
Total bop!
A lovely song with excellent composure. On a soprano concert ukulele, I put a capo on first fret and play the chords without transposing them. I have a higher voice, and I really like the way this sounds!
Did cadd9 sound off for anyone els?
I really like +5 but replacing the Fadd9 with a normal F. I just think it sounds a lot more like the actual song.
Lol, I like your username
I find that the living pattern doesn’t sound all too good, so I choose to go
—2
—3
—2
-0—
So… It goes g string, all the rest, g string all the rest… And so on.
I took it to -2 and tuned my uke down a step and it sounds great.
so glad to see some white stripes on here! ^^ sounds perfect as well!
I used CAEA as a picking pattern
The strumming pattern is DUDU
Also, I find C to work better than Cadd9
Strumming pattern, anyone? 🙂
anyone got a pattern?
this song makes me feel things and nostalgia, and it honestly makes me wish i was still in elementary school
Strumming pattern?
i like to pick the a and g string and just ply the chords that are there
i like doing a +5
Go to -5 but instead of Gadd9 do plain old G. Easier!!
