Verse:
F Am C C
She'll lie and steal and cheat, and beg you from her knees
    F Am G C
And make you thinks she means it this time
F Am C C
She'll tear a hole in you, the one you can't repair
    F Am G C
But I still love her, I don't really care

Bridge:
F C Am G
When we were young, Oh Oh, we did enough
F C Am G
When it got cold, Ooh Ooh, we bundled up
F C Am G C
I cant be told, Ah Ah It cant be done

Verse -same chords as first-:
It's better to feel pain, than nothing at all
The opposite of love's indifference
Pay attention now, I'm standing on your porch screaming out
And I wont leave until you come downstairs

Chorus:
F C G Am
So keep your head up, keep your love
F C G Am
keep your head up, my love
F C G Am
keep your head up, my love
F C G Am
Keep your head up, keep your love

Verse -same chords as first-:
I don't blame ya dear for running like you did, all these years
I would do the same, your best believe
The highway signs say we're close, but I don't read those things anymore
I never trusted my own eyes

Bridge:
F C Am G
When we were young, Oh Oh, we did enough
F C Am G
When it got cold, Ooh Ooh, we bundled up
F C Am G C
I cant be told, Ah Ah It cant be done

Chorus:
F C G Am
So keep your head up, keep your love
F C G Am
keep your head up, my love
F C G Am
keep your head up, my love
F C G Am
Keep your head up, keep your love

  1. For all of the first C chords on each line, the chord is actually supposed to be Csus4

  2. Hannahrosie6

Please show the chords throughout the entire song, its not ideal and makes it harder to use them ?

  3. pleasefixthis

Why doesn’t it show through the whole song? Did this person get too lazy to complete what they started? Please update or revise it to make it easier for players. Also update the screwed up chord please.

  4. @Me and @Voldemort are right
    F Am Csus(0013) C

  5. I agree with F Am F C

  6. I thikn the intro sounde better playing

    F Am C* G

    C*
    |—|—|-X-|—|a
    |—|—|-X-|—|e
    |—|—|—|—|c
    |—|—|—|—|g
    1 2 3 4

  7. For the verses, I think it sounds better if you go: F Am F C, instead of too c’s.
    Thx for the tab though:)

  8. Every other line, that is.

  9. In the verses, it should be F Am Csus4 (Which is a C chord, but you also hold down the E string, first fret) C.

  10. In the first line it instead goes F Am Csus C. Not two C’s or and F + C. Csus is played like this:

    |—|—|-3-|—| (a string)
    |-1-|—|—|—| (e string)
    |—|—|—|—| (c string)
    |—|—|—|—| (g string)

  11. xuagram1

I think the first line would be: F Am F C rather than two Cs. then play that every time

  12. These chords are amazing, but could you please make sure they go all the way through? It’s hard to keep scrolling back and forth to keep up with the verses… :(
