Intro: B Gbm E E

Verse:
         B Gbm
When you left this town, with your windows down
        E
And the wilderness inside
        B Gbm
Let the exits pass, all the tar and glass
         E
'Til the road and sky align

Chorus:
    B Gbm
The strangers in this town,
     E Dbm
They raise you up just to cut you down
   B Gbm E
Oh Angela it's a long time coming

Verse:
         B Gbm
And your Volvo lights lit up green and white
         E
With the cities on the signs
        B Gbm
But you held your course to some distant war
       E
In the corners of your mind

Chorus:
         B Gbm
From the second time around
    E Dbm
The only love I ever found
   B Gbm E
Oh Angela it's a long time coming

Interlude:
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast

Verse:
         B Gbm
Were you safe and warm in your coat of arms
          E
With your fingers in a fist
        B Gbm
Did you hear the notes, all those static codes
       E
In the radio abyss?

Chorus:
B Gbm
Strangers in this town,
     E Dbm
They raise you up just to cut you down
   B Gbm E Dbm
Oh Angela it's a long time coming
   B Gbm E
Oh Angela spent your whole life running away

Interlude:
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast

End:
    B Gbm E Dbm
Vacancy, hotel room, lost in me, lost in you
    B Gbm E Dbm
Angela, on my knees, I belong, I believe
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast
    B E Abm
Home at laaaaaast
         B
Homea at last
Gbm E Dbm
Mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm
B Gbm E Dbm
Mmmmmm mmmmm mmmmm mmmmm

  1. Pluck C string, then the E and A strings together

  2. Rebecca Kitchingson

I think it sounds most like the song if you choose +1 and play a G instead of Gm. Or I just have a really off tune uke

wait nope scratch that my uke was just really off tune ?

      • Honestly i don’t know… using G instead of G minor does flow better but it also makes the song lose its minor, mysterious feel- i think that they’re both just a little off

  3. I think it’s best to do +1 and play a G instead of Gm, sounds the best to me. Or I just have a really off tune uke

  4. Finally!!! It’s so beautifuuuulll

  5. This is so great ahh! Thank youuu

  6. +1 is the easiest and sounds the best to me!
